Response: I just talked with a wood lot here & they figure 2500-2800# per cord of seasoned a'mond at their most recent weigh. That puts a diff light on what a lot of us can haul & if it's green it will be considerably heavier. 2 cord of green would max me out and would go at prob 850. I'm still working 1 other load to pair up with this so will keep in touch. Dan (3/14/2008)

Response: i am interested. i used to live in chico for 15 years also. great place. i don't have a line on the wood yet, but if your price is fair enough, i will purchase it promptly. i imagine i can get the seller to load it since they will usually deliver it for free in chico and it would be easier for them to load a truck on the spot. make your bid and let's go! i am tired of burning fir in my stove, no good for heat compared to good old a'mond.
