Response: no we transport in a caravan not a truck (10/27/2009)

Response: What is the timeframe you have available that you might be doing this...if I accepted your bid....???
(10/27/2009)

Response: pick up on sat with delivery sunday or depending on how the trip goes monday its hard to give exacts last transport I witnessed an accident on the jersy turnpike and was delayed 2 and a half hrs to give a witness statement ya never know (10/27/2009)

Question: Hi, please check my feedback!!!! I am currently the #1 cat transporter on Uship. My service is kind of unique. I transport via commercial airlines. Siam and Paco will ride in climate control cabin with my husband and I, never leaving my side. Delivered to you in hours! No dirty truck stops or rest areas. Not days on the road! No health certificate is required. I will supply the carriers for the flight. I would pick up at your residence and deliver to Tampa airport if someone could meet me there I would bid $575. At the moment I can accomodate your time frame requirements. Please let me know if I should place my bid, Lu-anne (10/26/2009)

Response: Good Morning Lu-anne;
I've already looked into this and checked with the airlines and certain ones that fly small animals cats/dogs have to be put under the seats in front of you in the cabins of the planes. My concern is my female cat is chunky and may not fit under the seat, what commercial airline are you speaking of specifically that you use...???? I definitely would Not want my animals to be placed in cargo,,,,no way. Also, they would have to be flown into Orlando international airport.
Looking forward to your comments. (10/27/2009)

Response: Cats would definatly NOT be in cargo. We have transported many "heafty" house cats, one was a 21 pounder. During take off and landing the cats do have to be under the seat, however once we are in the air we can pull the carriers out. It has been my experience ( and I have transported more then 60 cats or dogs for breeders) that once the plane takes off the cats get comfortable and lay down or sleep most of the flight. Flying into Orlando is not a problem. I fly several different airlines and could give you all the details available as we get close to delivery date. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. I am flying out of TX this afternoon so wont have internet between 12 and 8pm to night. Look foward to hearing from you. Lu-anne (10/27/2009)

Response: Lu-anne, Thank you for your quick response. Didn't realize that they could be taken out from underneath the seats once the plane was air-borne.
Can you give me a price for this service.
Thank You.
Shelly (10/27/2009)

Response: Shelly, The bid would be the same, $575 to Orlando. I could do this for $450, if you could meet me at JFK. I do have a couple of other bids out there for next week so once you let me know I will place my bid so we can secure the dates, Lu-anne (10/27/2009)

Response: Lu-anne;
I am presently in florida...your fee is fine of $575 to Orlando.
My two kitties are in East Hampton, CT at a friends home and would need to be picked up there. I just moved to Florida last week. What dates are you available to do this...??? (10/27/2009)

Response: Ideally Thursday the 5th or Friday the 6th would work best but can be flexible if you are. I will place the bid now. Lu-anne (10/27/2009)

Question: Hi Shelly, my bid expired but I will re-bid if you are interested. I still can accommodate your dates. thanks Lu-Anne (10/28/2009)

Response: Lu-anne;
Please let me know what airlines you are using to transport animals ....TIA
Shelly (10/28/2009)

Response: Shelly, I have flight privliges with several airlines. I wouldnt know which airline til the day before. It would probably be US air, Delta, or Southwest. Lu-anne (10/28/2009)

Response: Lu-anne;
I know that Southwest and I believe American airlines also require health documents showing up-to-date shots etc. to be able to fly in the cabin with the passenger. I was going to fly with my cats down here to Florida and looked into it myself. You stated they didn't need health documents....can you further explain.
Thank you in advance.
Shelly (10/28/2009)

Response: I am sorry but Iam really not sure that I have the answer you are looking for...... Other then to tell you that I have done this for the past three years with breeders up and down the east coast. I have never been ask for a health certificate in 60 plus deliveries. My husband has been in the airline business for 10 years and it is not required by the airlines we fly. Please feel free to ask any questions and again please check my feedback to reassure yourself that I have 100% feedback and have never had any problem delivering for my customers. Lu-anne (10/28/2009)

Question: Hi Shelly, Do you still need the 2 cats transported. We will be in the area next Tue. or Wed. then straight to you. 24 hrs. or less. They would ride in in the back seat of our pick up truck. Safe and secure. Please check our feedback we have transported MANY pets most across the country. I personally own 2 14 mo. old Siamese kittens. They are both sitting in the cat tree looking at me with their beautiful blue eyes. I know what you are talking about when you say they act like dogs. The love to play fetch. Sorry for being so wordy. Will this time frame work for you? Thanks for your time, Greg (10/29/2009)

Response: Hi there Greg;
First of all I'd like to ask you where are you located in florida...?
Second, Do you supply crates for the cats plus litter, water etc or do I..?
The cats are currently residing in East Hampton, CT.....I would need to know as close as possible time of arrival to pick them up since my friend works where you would pick them up; however would make sure she was home when you arrived. You would have to co-ordinate that with her.
You stated you would be in the area the next Tuesday or Wednesday....did you mean Nov. 3rd or 4thin CT....???? If possible the following week of Nov. 8th would be even better for me.
Also, you mentioned "cash" ...would you also take a Bank check or PayPal....???
Once you answer these questions.....then I guess I need a bid to see what you would charge for the kitty transport....
TIA,
Shelly (10/29/2009)

Response: Thanks for getting back to us. We are located in Hudson, Fl. in Pasco county. We can supply the crate for the cats. We have a very large one it will hold a 75 pound dog. We can use this one so they can ride together. This may be less stressful. We supply the litter and box as well as bottled water. I would recommend sending some of your food with us and maybe their favorite dish. The 3rd or the 4th is the week I was referring to. We don't have a trip planned for the following week.We can give your friend 24hrs. notice to our arrival, then call a few hrs. ahead. We can have the cats to you in 24 hrs. I understand your concern about them being in a strange environment for days. We would charge $299 for the transport. We will take great care of them. My partner and I are both animal lovers. I did not mention cash payment. We take cash, personal check from a local bank or paypal with a 3% charge for the fee we incur. Hope I answered all your questions. Please get back to me. Thanks, Greg (10/30/2009)

Response: Greg;
Great to hear back from you so soon. You've explained everything I needed to know.
Just one more question....other than next week
would you be able to do this run in the next 2-3 weeks,..????? to pick up the kitties.
TIA
Shelly (10/30/2009)

Response: We don't have any plans yet. What we do is book a boat 1st then pick up a few small items to help with the fuel. It is possible but I can promise. Please check out our feedback as well as others bidding. Look at things like CANCELS. You don't want to have any problems with your cats. Mine are part of our family as I am sure yours are. Let us know if your interested. Greg (10/30/2009)

Response: Hi there Greg;
Just one other question and I'm ready to accept your bid today for the 4th or 5th of November for pick-up in East Hampton, CT and delivery in Lake Alfred, Florida within 2 days. Besides the 2 cats would you be able to bring one of my cats .....cat bed also back with you. it's one bed and isn't very big at all. I will make sure you have cat food and treats upon pick-up. I will pay you upon delivery. If there's an extra charge for the bed it's okay.
Thank you in advance.
Shelly
Looking forward to doing business with you. (10/30/2009)

Response: That would be no problem. No extra charge for the bed. I will go ahead and place the formal bid under capthotshot. Please accept and we can talk later today. Thank You very much, Greg (10/30/2009)

Question: Sorry if I seemed a little off in my response earlier Had just found out a personal friend passed away in NY.If you still have questions just ask i should be back home in a few hrs to answer anything that you need to know thanks for all your time (10/29/2009)

Response: Sorry to hear about your friend. My last question was I was just concerned about my kitties taking more than 2 days to arrive here in Florida. They will be stressed out enuf from the journey and new home and they're not kittens.....they're up there in age that was all. So if they had to stay in your vehicle one, two or more days for the other pick-ups it would be too long of a time. I need to know they will arrive the 2nd day from pick-up barring any unforseen happenings in their travel.
TIA
Shelly (10/29/2009)

Response: Hello we will be coming down the coast not going too far off the beating path so like i have said all along barring unforseen events they will be delivered within a 2 day time frame hope this will ease your mind we love cats have 3 siameses ourselves will do everything in our power to make this a pleasant trip for them both and for you too. (10/29/2009)
