Question: Hi shipper, Thank you for your bid request. We will be headed to the NE and could pick up your two in Corpus between 11/7-9 if that timeframe works. We do provide the kennels for the trip as we typically use large kennels that are self contained with a litter box, nice bedding and still pleanty of room for your fur kids to move around. Before giving you a price, could both ride together in a x-large crate or would you prefer they ride seperately in large crates. As soon as I hear back from you will submit my formal bid. thanks (10/29/2009)

Response: Hello, thank you...prob better to have them separate...is it cheaper to use one crate?
Also, do you reccomend a sedative"? i ve never shipped animals before? thanks (10/29/2009)

Response: Sorry you felt our price was too high as what we bid was actually our normal price for 1. What do you feel would be a fair price for a trip if this distance. Cost of fuel plus all the tolls and bridge fee's getting into and out of NJ alone would be over $300. Been a licensed pet transporter for way too many years to know what it actually costs to provide proper care for our passengers, especially this time of year when trips can be delayed by 24 to 48 hours due to dangerous driving conditions. Let us know if we can help! (10/29/2009)

Response: thanks (11/6/2009)

Question: Hi & thnx for thinking of Second Chance Animal Rescue in requesting a bid. Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a shipment to TX and wouldn't be able to go up the east coast till about a week or so. Also my bid amount would be in the neighborhood of about $299. If this would work for you, let me know and I'll see what I can do to set up something then. Thnx again for supporting Second Chance. Cooniebear (11/3/2009)

Response: hi yes that would work..i have 250 set aside as a tops amount but could scrape toghether a bit extra to get to 299..i'm desperate b/c my ex is moving and can t bring our cats and i don t want anything to happen to them so i m trying desperatley to get them here to NJ!! thanks so much let me know (11/3/2009)

Response: OK, might be able to pickup this weekend but may be up to 4-5 days before delivery. I promise your babies will be in good loving hands the whole trip as ALL my babies are. I have to work out a route up the east coast so can't give you a difinitive date till I have confirmation from you and set up the route. Can you meet somewhere on 95? Corpus Cristy is no problem as we will be in TX. I will place the bid & I would need you to confirm within 24hrs so I can make arrangements for the route up north. Thnx again for your support of SecondChance Animal Rescue. Cooniebear (11/3/2009)

Response: hi yes i can meet you on 95 i have gps...one question..they will travel in crates i provide right? what about litter box or food, water for their trip..? when you make stops how does that work when they re with you? i have never done this so have no idea..the one cat is nervous so was just curious, thanks (11/3/2009)

Response: I have rescue remedy, a natural calming agent that I use only when extreemly necessary but most of the time, I've found holding and talking to the babies for a little while puts them at ease. Also traveling with a blanket, toys or siblings helps. You provide food and a gallon jug of water hey are used to so they don't have belly aches. Normally, I would provide the crates but this time out, I didn't bring any so yes, you would need to provide them along with a small litter pan and extra litter for the few days we would be traveling. (11/3/2009)

Response: hi ok do u keep the litter box separate then let each of them get in every so often? or do others keep the litter boxes in their cages? that would be too cramped i think
also, is it ok if at the pickup she gives you cat accesories as well? like a cat tower? (11/3/2009)

Response: If the crates are big enough & the pans are small enough Iputthem inso they have themat all times...if not, I use one crate for the ittle boxes and put them in the bathroom" every so often. Then I like to put siblings in together for awhile so they feel they arn't so alone. Accessories for thebabies is good, makes them feel more comfortable. As for a cat tree, not sure if I would have theextra room. Ifyou can wrap it in a tarp, plastic bags, etc, I may beable to carry it on the bed of the truck if I don't have it filled with other shipments (11/3/2009)

Response: hello ok i just want to reconfirm with the person who you'll pick themm up from in corpus..you think you will be there to pick them up this wknd rt? (11/3/2009)

Response: Yes, possibly Fri or into the weekend. (11/3/2009)

Response: hi are u still willing to ship? sorry for delay (11/5/2009)

Response: Hi & thnx for getting back to me. We will be in TX tomorrow & possibly Sat but have made other arrangemts and won't be back up the east coast till the week before Thanksgiving. If we picked up your babies, they would be with us for a couple weeks. SO....If you can't work out anything else, I would still be willing to pick them up but unless something worked out diferently with the schedule, I couldn't deliver till around the 23rd/24th. (11/5/2009)

Response: ok thanks !! i need to tell the person in corpus that you will pick them up from tentatively a day/time.do you think it would be tomorrow or Saturday morn, noon or evening? i just need to maske sure she can be there at the house to meet you thanks.. (11/5/2009)

Response: Pickup would be late tonight or early tomorrow. I will place the bid again but needs to be confirmed (accepted) by lunchtime (tx time) today. After accepting, we can talk more via phone about the details. Please make sure there i plenty of food & litter for about two weeks. Thnx again for supporting Second Chance Animal Rescue. (11/6/2009)

Response: ok awesome thanks! i will let the contact in corpus know...it would be great if we could drill down on the time window just a bit..i just to be positive she will be available thanks (i am the easy one to deal with..lol) (11/6/2009)

Response: I am about 9 hrs away right now and suposed to b in Houston by this afternoon. Then have to go to Larado. I will be picking them up on the way back so IF there's enought time to pickup tonight, it would be late(like 8,9 ish). If later than that, I will pickup early morning like 8 or before. I will give them a call about when I'm an hr away so they have time to prepare. (11/6/2009)

Response: ok great she will be available at both times but def requires a call..how can i give u my number and her number to be sure u get it? also can i pay half now and half when u arrive? and want to pay by credit card how do i do so? (11/6/2009)

Response: 1st, you need to accept the bid then pay the fees through Uship. They allow credit cards, etc. I require payment upfront at this time due to too many non payments. That can be paid through Uship, Paypal etc. The money will not be removed until your babies are delivered. Once you accept bi, Uship will exchange phone #s, etc. (11/6/2009)

Response: hi what s the uship fee? the 10 dollar auction fee?
also after i accept i will pay by paypal but does it have to be immediately after im in class now? thanks (11/6/2009)

Response: I'm sorry but the bid needed to be accepted by lunchtime. I am headed to Larado now. I will be back out to CA, AZ, UT etc about the end of next week and can possibly pickup then. I will be headed to the north east at the end of that trip. If that works for you, I will pace another bid once I get back out here. Same amount. Let me know if you still need transport then. Thnx Cooniebear (11/7/2009)

Response: u said to accept the bid by noon TX TIME THEN U EXIRED IT AT NOON EASTERN TIME? (11/7/2009)

Response: If that's the case, I'm truely sorry. I have been on the road two weeks now and have tried to keep in contact as best as possible with everyone. When I said it had to be accepted by 12, I knew I wouldn't be back on till atleast 3. I wish I could change the facts but I can't pickup now without it being more expensive. But as I said, I will be back in the area next week if you don't get something arranged prir to that. Again, sorry for any inconvenience. (11/7/2009)

Question: Hello,
Would you be able to meet in Austin and can this be done at the end of this week? Thanks! Mike -afegress- (11/3/2009)

Response: hi i m the one in nj and the person who you would pick up nfrom in tx is only able to meet in corpus..i am flexible for drop off here but she isn t felxible for pickup there b/c she has a small child..
if you picked up in corpus when could you do it? and what s the cost? (11/3/2009)

Response: I could possibly pick up Thursday or Friday (i will know for sure tomorrow). My price would be about 250 if you could meet somewhere. Just let me know. thanks! Mike -afegress- (11/3/2009)

Response: hi ok..would you be able to pick them up in corpus though? also she works from 7 to 4 30 pm, so pickup in TX would have to be fri nt or sat sometime..i am more flexible here in NJ
250 works (11/3/2009)

Response: yes, could do corpus. We could work on the times as well. (11/3/2009)

Response: ok..at pickup, she would provide their crates (1 each), a litter box, food, water, bowls etc..how do you handle them using the litter box and easting/drinking? the litter box it s too big to fit in the crates..
also, have you ever used any sort of a sedative for any animal when traveling? thx (11/3/2009)

Response: I have only used a sedative if given by the owner and they requested it to be used. I normally make stops every 3-4 hours to make sure there is food and water and let them use the liter box. (11/3/2009)

Response: ok i am satisfied! sorry i ve never done this and was just full of questions!! my boy cat, Stan is a bit nervous but i think he ll be ok..we rescued him from a lagoon and he had almost drowned so he gets a little scared (11/3/2009)

Question: Hi, I have a van with a layover in San Antonio, TX but will be departing early on 11/11. If someone could get the cats to San Antonio either on 11/9 or 11/10 we will be able to get them to NJ for $250 CASH when they are delivered in SA. Hope that will work for you. Response: hi just heard from her and she cannot miss work thats a monday and tuesday..any option at all for a pick up in corpus? thanks (11/5/2009)

Response: Me getting to Corpus is not a problem, the issue is it would use up almost a whole tank of fuel getting down there and out from where I have other pick ups and with what you can afford to pay, I just can't afford to do it. I hope you understand but I can't aford to loose that much myself. (11/6/2009)
