Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hello shipper, can I ask? What kind of price are you hoping for on this shipment? I thought I was being reasoanble based on the size, shape, weight and distance of this shipment. Please let me know, I am sure we can find a happy medium. Thanks for your time. Jay ...bidder...jabbru (3/7/2007)
Question:
Hello shipper, where do you need to be on price for this shipment? Please advise, Thank you, Jay ...jabbru (3/8/2007)
Response:
Jay, Thanks for responding. I already have offers around half the price you initially quoted, and I am waiting for the most competitive offer. These items really aren't that big; mostly bulky. They can be stacked. (3/8/2007)
Question:
Could this be picked up around the 15th? If so, how soon would you need it delivered? Thank You, Cody (3/8/2007)
Response:
Cody, The 15th. would work, but I would like to have them within a week or so, no longer than two weeks. (3/8/2007)
Question:
One more question, the overall size of these items, not including the small box is 3.5ftx3.5ftx6.5ft on one end and can be stacked? My truck bed, in front of my trailer neck is approx. 6x4.5, would these be stacked in this area if secured? I will have my trailer and a full load coming back, but nothing in the bed. Thank You, if this will work, I can do for $250 COD, Cody (3/8/2007)
Response:
Cody, The front sections should fit in the bed of your truck without any problems. I am not sure about the rear section. It is around 6 feet long, but again, there is not much to it, just some metal bars with gangs and small shovels attached. The fronts should stack easily, but it might take a little time to get them just right since there is alot of protruding bars. I will consider your offer since it is in the ballpark of what I had in mind, but I still am reviewing other competitive offers. I have other emails to return. What is your timeframe on transporting these? (3/8/2007)
Question:
Hello, well I can certainly understand wanting to get it done as inexpensively as possible. OK, I am still willing to ship these items. I estimated the least I can bid is the figure in my second bid. I hope you will understand that it does take a bit of money in fuel to cover these distances. Please let me know if you have any other specific questions for me. If you can live with this price, I would be happy to haul these. Same details as my initial bid. Thanks for you time. Jay (3/8/2007)
Response:
Jay, I understand it does take a bit of $$$ to cover the distance, but your price is still coming in way too high. If it was a Harley or something that value, then I would understand the cost, but these are nothing more than some metal bars with shovels to fit an old tractor. Your shipping price is way more than these are worth. I am looking to find someone already with a load, but with a little extra room, going to the San Antonio, or Houston Area from CO. connecting onto I-10 to ship these for me. I know transporting these will pay for, or definately offset the price of fuel for the entire load. Thanks again for your interest, but I will continue to entertain other offers at this time. (3/8/2007)
Question:
What price would get the job? Cody (3/8/2007)
Response:
Cody, Thanks again for your interest. I am looking to get the price under $200. (3/8/2007)
Question:
Can you crate this or put it on a pallet (3/9/2007)
