Question: I could demo both of these and haul them to the landfill for 1500
(11/1/2007)

Response: Is this cost all inclusive, i.e; dump fee? Is so, what time frame are you looking to complete the job? Please let me know at your earliest convenience...Thanks

Response: Hello again, I've made some calls assuming your weights are correct I will have to ask that you cover the dump fees it costs 50.00 a ton to dump. at the est. weight of 4500 lbs thats 125.00 plus tax.I just cant assume the risk of having 10.000 lbs and having to cover this expense. If you accecpt my bid I can start planing to head that way, It wouldent be more than 2 or 3 weeks at the most, and I may be able to come as early as the weekend.
Also are these empty?IE not full of trash and assorted other things? (11/2/2007)

Response: Hi,
I was given/gave you the wrong weights...The weights I gave 3,000 & 1,500 are the estimated chassi weight. I thought it sounded too low. I apologize for the confusion. Anyhow, to the best of my knowledge (now) the trailers weigh 3 ton and 8 ton respectively. That would put the dump fees at approximately $600.
Additionally, the trailers are not empty. I bought this property as is, and the larger trailer is where the gentleman lived and hasn't been inhabited for 10+ years and just by looking through the door there were some items/junk in there, and the smaller trailer he apparently used as storage.
If I agree to pay the dump fees, would you be willing to bid this job at $1300? This would entail removing both trailers and leave nothing on site. I have more pictures of both trailers but I am not sure how to get them to you without violating the terms of use...I will explore that after I hear from you again. Are you in NE or nearby? Thanks again, talk to you soon. Jake (11/2/2007)

Response: I think 1500 is reasonable. Im not shure exactley what Im getting myself into, If these trailers are full? this could mean almost anything. If you look at it from where I am thats not a bad figure. (11/2/2007)

Response: If we worked this into a bid, can you give me an estimate of how long this will take and when you can do it? I know before you said within 2-3 weeks, possibly the weekend...but I would like to be there when this is done. Thanks for the info...
Do you live in NE?
Jake (11/2/2007)

Response: Its hard to say but I would hope to have it done in 1 weekend, I'm not shure if the landfill is open on Sun? but we would knock it out pretty quick. (11/3/2007)

Response: Are you still interested in removing the trailers? If you would please let me know either way I would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day.

Response: I am assuming, understand that I have not seen how much the previous owner had (stored) in these trailers. This is the only stumbleing block for me. I would guess that I could have it done in 1 weekend, Sat- Sun. But having not seen inside I cant guarintee this. I am from Omaha and its a 4 1/2 hr trip out there I dont have a problem with the trip I just don't want to get out there and wind up having a massive amount of stuff to get rid of, furniture in the one I understand but understand that I have seen these trailers litterally stacked full floor to ceiling Ill place the bid for 1500 if you accecpt it I'll give you a call and we will work out the details. Thank you (11/7/2007)
