Shipment Details: These are two Class 5 Bucket Trucks with Cargo Boxes. GVWR @ 18,000 lbs. each. I am flexible with respect to the dates. Both vehicles should be available to ship by the end of January. steer axle outside to outside 74" drive axle outside to outside 83.5" bumper to bumper 24' bucket to ground 11'2" box width 7' 11" I am interested in trailering both trucks or shipping by rail.

Response: I have a bid (not through U-Ship)to transport both trucks on a large lowboy for just under $11k. I am looking for more cost effective alternatives. If you have other options, I would certainly welcome your ideas. If you would like to bid alternative options, go right ahead. (1/24/2007)

Response: I need to move two of these units from FL to the Seattle area. Both are 2004 Isuzu NQRs - Isuzu diesel engine (5.19L), Aisin 4 speed automatic transmission, 17,950 lb GVWR. The dimensions for each truck are: steer axle outside to outside 74" drive axle outside to outside 83.5" bumper to bumper 24' bucket to ground 11'2" box width 7' 11" Please let me know if you have any more questions. Question: Have you gone to a local truck stop (there is a few on (I-95) and askes a few drop deck owners to call their dispatcherand give you a good price? I am not trying to give things away but $11000 is way overpriced. You need a 53' 102 regular flat bed or a 102 wide drop deck to move these together. (1/24/2007)

Response: My problem is that I'm in Seattle and the trucks are in Florida. I appreciate our suggestions and may try to hit a few truck stops here in the Seattle area. Response: I'm not sure that I understand your comment. Are you saying that the trucks are too tall to ship on a standard Flatbed trailer? If so, can you be more specific by what you mean by "drop trailer or drivaway"? Is there a specific type or size of trailer that I should be looking for? If so, any thoughts on where to find one? Question: I believe that I can get this done for you but it will have to be on a specialized trailer because of how tall the trucks are and only 18 ft long I can get them both at the same time let me check on my truck availibility in Florida to see how quick I can get this done. Question: If your trucks are 11' tall they will not fit on a stepdeck (as stepdeck are 18" drop and a 53' would only give you 43' on lower deck)Good luck shipping, but $11000, is pretty steep. (1/25/2007)
