Response: I personally find a waste of time to bid where the shipper wants shipping below cost. A bid requires that I keep a time and space open while the shipper studies other offers while telling you my opinion does not and it may help my fellow drivers. Response: I usually use a shipping company that I receive good rates on. I changed the "book it now" to $500. I recently shipped an item weighing 1700 pounds and was much larger than these for around $600 to the same area. So, being 1000 pounds lighter, I felt as if someone could ship these for $500 easily, especially since it is just going down I-5. (1/28/2008)

Response: I would not mind, but I am still awaiting the check to clear for the payment of these items; that is why I put the pick up date for the first. It should not be a problem, but I would hate for it to not clear and have it already delivered. Are you going to be heading down there later? I could risk it for a cheaper quote.
