Response: Hello, Lights and brakes work; the plug is small, but I use converter(on the trailer now) and it fits into my 1999 Jeep with a tow package/both my parent's Dodges/most other "modern" big plugs. I wish I could describe the plugs better: the small plug has round holes, the big plug has "slashes"???? Timeframe is flexible and depends on price. Sorry, plugs not my specialty. (8/15/2009)
