Response: Larrbo,
You have a good plan, but my concerns are: 1)will one pallet jack lift 7000 lbs? The machining center won't accomodate more than one, although the router will. 2)if you put one machine (6000 lbs) towards the front of the trailer, can you put the second machine (7000 lbs) just inside the back so it won't have to be moved once it's loaded? 3)can you CHAIN a machine to the floor of your trailer? Straps won't do. 4)Do you have air ride suspension? That is a requirement, anything else will shake the machine apart. 5)Do you have a source for forklift rental on both ends of the trip? We won't be making this move until about the middle of May. We should talk directly, but I think that's against the USHIP rules just now. Well, we have time. Please do rebid this. Talk to you soon.
