Additional Information: Needing to transport 2 Great Dane pups from home in California to new home in Georgia. One is a black female that is about 6 months old, she weighs about 70lbs. The other is a blue female that is about 5 months old and weighs about 50lbs. Must be crated and please be sure you understand the size crate needed for a dane with cropped ears, her ears cannot touch the top of the crate. I think 36 inches tall at the minimum. This is a must. Flexible on dates but they cannot leave for at least another week.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi shipper, can these babies wait until Mid Dec??? We have a trip already scheduled that would have us in Hemet around 12/10-12. Let me know ASAP as this trip is almost filled and would love to get these two safely transported across the country. thanks (11/5/2009)

Response: Yes they could wait until then. But at that point they may require larger crates. (11/5/2009)

Response: Understand, 1 month growing can make a difference is these babies. We do travel with along of giant breeds and could reserve Large crates today and would honor the price even if we have to bump them up to larger crates, that's the only fair thing to do. Door to door service for both $895.00. Really, what it boils down to is $400 per pup as there are other fee's that come off of that we don't get. Let me know ASAP so that I make sure and keep my jumbo crates avail. thanks (11/5/2009)

Response: Do you provide crates? I think they would need a large, no bigger. I think this sounds like a great deal and if you let me get with a friend and check to make sure she is okay with mid December. If she is than I would love to use your services. (11/5/2009)

Response: Yes, we provide everything for the safe transport and only require health certificates, collars and food for the trip be provided by the shipper. I am hoping to squeeze another trip in before December and would definately be able to bump you up to that trip if it developes. I will submit my bid for Dec and can discuss an earlier trip if I can swing it. Response: Hi shipper, I have rebid on your shipment. I hope that everyone bidding on this realize what size crate your little girl will need due to her recent ear cropping. Have traveling with many Dobi's and Dane's with taped ears unless they need to be housed in a crate with the height that their ears are not effected. Hope we can help! We do have limited space still available on the trip departing CA the week of Dec. 13th so hope we hear back from you soon! (11/8/2009)

Response: Two weeks would be fine. There is not a real big rush. Just remember these are growing puppies and if you would like a crate to travel in, even a couple weeks can change the size of it. (11/6/2009)

Question: Hi shipper, what is going on, have bid three times already?? Would love to get these guys safely relocated and glad you did edit your posting regarding the size of crate required due to your pups ear cropping. I have bid a rock bottom price 3 times, have the equipment and experience to safely relocate these babies so not exactly sure what you are looking for. My van does have limited space left so will wait and see if we will be able to accomodate these two in the next couple of weeks if you have not already accepted someones bid. thanks (11/8/2009)

Response: Every time I try to look at the bids it says they are expired or declined (not on my part but due to editing on the bidders part). This is my first time using Uship so am unfamiliar with it but am sure I should see active bids. All of my bids are in gray. (11/8/2009)

Response: Oh goodness, not certain what you see on your side or even how to accept a bid, just know how to submit one. Will be honest with you, you don't want these guys riding free. Interstate travel can be very dangerous and simply hitting the breaks could cause some major damage to these pups. You may wish to edit that as well. Trust me, been doing this way too long and have heard horror stories about pets being seriously injured and a few didn't survive at all. Just a suggestion. (11/8/2009)

Response: Wow, never thought of that. You are absolutely correct. We restrain our pets in our car or crate so didn't think about it thru interstate travel. Okay going to try and figure out this bidding thing. Sorry. (11/8/2009)
