Question: Hi, could these fit in a pickup bed with a cap on it? thanks, Bill (5/25/2008)

Response: By the way, it is ready now, so whenever you can make it and get it delivered is perfect. We can protect it with cardboard and shrink wrap, even palletize it if need be. Thanks again, Steve.

Response: Let me do some calculations and get back to you. I might buy/rent a trailer out there, I'm dropping a boat in Bozeman on the 2nd or 3rd. Thanks, Bill (5/25/2008)

Response: Excellent, that would be awesome! I look forward to hearing from you! Id really rather have you take all of these items, in fact, I might have a couple more that are ready by the 2nd or 3rd if you are interested. We CAN separate them if its easier too. We ship at least one order per week and we are trying to find as many reliable, responsible, professional shippers to work with as we can. We can keep you busy if you make it out this way often. Thanks so much, I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Steve.

Response: Thanks Steve for the response. My route for this move will be as followed:
-Will be coming from Seattle on June 2nd arriving in Troy that night(Would love to take you up on the nice offer for a hot breakfast and a night in the cabin)
-We'll leave in the morning and head to Mooresville, NC for the first drop off
-Immedeitaly afer the NC drop we will head to Dalton, GA
-On June 6 we will head to Alum Bank, PA to drop off the last item
For the whole shipment it will be $2,500. If you only want the NC and GA drop off we could do it for $1,800. We have a 26ft truck so if you have any additional items that need to be shipped to the east coast please let me know and we can discuss the shipment.
Thanks
Ty

Response: I would love to have you stay in the cabin, or I would gladly meet you in Couer d'Alene, ID to help make this shipment affordable. I also have one item to Michigan and one to Maine that is ready, plus a Bedroom Set to Dallas, TX that MIGHT be ready by the 2nd or 3rd. I know these are not on your route, but we can keep you very busy if you can be reasonable and realistic with your rates. I know that the price of fuel is unbearable, and it costs just as much to drive there with one item as with 100, but it also leaves you with lots of space in your trailer to fill in and make it affordable for you. I have already quoted these particular customers with commercial rates, so I cant go back and tell them it is going to be twice the original quote. You SHOULD be able to ship these items for much less than twice the commercial rate. Please work with us and it will only benefit us both in the future. Thanks so much! Sincerely, Steve.

Response: I understand, I do all my shipment in 2 or 3 becouse its less on gas and the customer gets a fair rate. I own and operate the truck and would love to earn your shipment. Im new to the site and have been doing move for over a year and this is something that could be consistant each month with your moves. So you tell me what to bid and we will discuss how much for everything to keep the shipments going. Right now I have the room coming back east to do all your shipments. And have something going to dallas on june 6. let me know what you think. Thanks Ty (5/27/2008)

Question: Hey Steve, No rush but ive had a couple people email about loads coming from the west coast and want to make sure I have enough room for your shipment. If you could let me know what you think well be ready to ship so we can make room in the truck. Thanks Ty (5/27/2008)

Response: Hi Ty, Sorry, I was waiting to hear from my NC customer. I finally did and I think we are good to go. I am definately going to accept your bid, probably in the morning. I REALLY appreciate your willingness and desire to work with us. Be SURE to save that room for the 3 orders and possibly another item to Michigan and 1 to Maine. Those 2 are small and will fit into most any nook or cranny. We will figure out those details later. I still need to TALK with the NC guy tomorrow morning just to make sure he is on board, but Im sure it wont be an issue. Then I will confirm and accept your bid. Most of my customers would rather just pay you personally, if thats okay, it reassures them that I am not making a profit on the shipping end. I will pay you for the Dressers to PA when you pick up. Is that all cool? Thanks so much, Im looking forward to working with you now and in the future! Sincerely, Steve.

Response: Hey Steve, That sounds good with the payments. After you accept the bid we can excange info about the customers and I will send them a contracts and other info. Thanks Ty (5/27/2008)

Question: Hi Steve. We have a route to PA in the next few weeks. Is there any chance we can work out an arrangement to pick in Kalispell for the item going to PA? (5/28/2008)

Response: Hey, my shipper looks like he's falling through and leaving me hanging. He was going to take all 3 shipments to PA, NC, and GA. I would rather keep them all together, but if you can make a reasonable bid for PA only I would definately consider it. Keep in mind, if I have to spend $50 in fuel and waste a day driving to Kalispell, it should be a VERY realistic bid. When will you be in Kalispell? Do you have an enclosed trailer with pads and tie downs? I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much, Steve.
