Questions for this shipment: Ask a Question

Question: WHAT IS YOUR TARGET PRICE? (10/11/2009)
Response: I have no idea what a ball park cost would be for this kind of move. I haven't gotten an estimate, so I can't give you a target. Sorry I'm not more helpful. (10/11/2009)
Response: thanks for your response,if you can accept my bid this week i will knock $500 off my bid this will allow me pleny of time to get a back haul.thanks (10/18/2009)
Response: Steve, I am still not sure of move date, probably first week of January. FYI,a large national moving company estimated my load at 6675 pounds. (11/20/2009)
Response: I hope that we can work out things to make your move for you, please take time to read our feedback and profile and you will see that we take pride in what we do.we will need no assistance in loading or unloading we will blanket wrap all items that need it and your items will be insured.we make several trips to Colorado and Florida.when do you think you will make a decision?thanks (11/20/2009)
Question: Do you have any questions about my bid? I could rebid. Thanks. (10/17/2009)
Response: Thanks for checking in. Your bid was higher than others. Meanwhile I am packing and may need to revise my list of items up or down. I will be making final decisions about this move at end of month. A rebid would be welcome. (10/18/2009)
Response: My work is custom. I disassemble, blanket wrap ALL large items and reassemble in your new house. If I had a job going to Florida I could give you a break also. Like now I have 4 jobs from Ontario to Florida and to WA but I have to eat the trip east. You have a full truck going to Colorado but from there is hard to find loads and some items like the armoire, lrg entertainment & executive desk will require extra hands and care. I can bid in 8 days when I know more about my schedule and if you change the list of items I could then rebid also. Can you provide the loading or unloading? I will still do the wrapping but I will not have to hire out. The loading represents $350 & unloading $200. Let me know, Thanks. (10/18/2009)
Response: Thanks for the info. I will be updating the list later this week. Thanks (10/18/2009)
Response: Ok . I will keep and eye on your move. Thanks. (10/18/2009)
Response: I still do not know exact time of move. Most likely first week in January. A large national moving company has estimated my load at 6675 pounds. (11/20/2009)
Response: I can carry 10K but I am not familiar with how this companies come up with the weight. It is an stimate and I know that they are way off. My bid is all inclusive and I know that what you have will fit in my truck and it will not be moved into a warehouse to them be transfered to a 53ft trailer. I have placed my bid for your consideration. It will take all day to wrap everything properly and set it up so that it will not get damaged during the trip. Use smaller boxes when ever possible and use garbage plastic bags 1/2 full for clothing that does not need to go hang. thse are great for padding. (11/20/2009)
Response: In what direction do you believe the weight estimate is way off? (11/22/2009)
Response: Household goods are lighter than regular freight unless you have hobbies dealing with clay, rocks, wrought iron and so on. I have not seen your things but I do not see in your pictures glass furniture, statures or marble. Ikea furniture is very heavy but not regular wood. I think you have 5,000 lbs. The truck that picks from your house should be weighted before and after at an offical scale before they are transfered into the semi used fordelivery by big companies. I charge by volume since I am limited by the size of the truck unless my customer needs weigth tickets as in typical for service people. They always hope for more weight. (11/22/2009)

My move is tied to a family member's military move, and things are not completely nailed down at the moment. I will update the listing as soon as possible. In any case, I do not have help in moving heavy items so bid should include all labor. (10/18/2009)

Response: This job would require two movers for loading and unloading. One armoire is on 2nd floor. A major moving company estimated my load at 6675 pounds. Hope that helps. (11/19/2009)
Question: Hello Kevin here with Ihaul4less. We are based in North Ga and we are interested in making this move for you. We have no problem with your dates at this time but we do have bids in on other jobs. We have to go with who books us frist. Thats just how Uship works. Im going to place my bid of 2500$ Let us know what we can do to make this deal happen. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks (10/18/2009)
Response: thanks Kevin. I understand that you will go with first accepted bid. I am packing and cleaning and should have a more accurate list by end of week. (10/18/2009)
Response: Thank you for your response. Keep us in mind. We will work with you the best we can. I see we are a thousand less than the next bidder. Im sure you want the best price and still receive good service. We can offer you great service at a fair price. Thank you for your time (10/18/2009)
Response: I still do not know exact move date, most likely first week in January. A large national moving company has estimated weight at 6675 pounds. (11/20/2009)
Response: Hello this is Kevin with Ihaul4less. I received your bid request. We could still do your move. The only problem is that we couldnt do it for the 2500$ At that time we had other jobs in that area that allowed us to bid lower on you listing. Also we have to take in the weather and other conditions that come in to play. Mid winter in Co. can be rough. Im sure we can still be your lowest bidder if you like for us to bid. I was honest with you then and I will be honest with you now. I dont like the way it makes us look to up a bid on you. Thats not how we do business but at this time I could not do this job for that same price. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks (11/24/2009)
Question: Hello, I would like to talk with you about your move. Can a truck and 40 ft. trailer park close to the entry doors at both locations? Are you going to live on base or off? If this is a DITY move you need weight tickets for TMO, is this the case? Do you have a set date in mind yet? Please give me as much notice as possible as the weather here in Colorado can turn bad real quick. If you have any questions please send me an e-mail. Thanks for your time, Ken (11/9/2009)
Response: Dear Ken, Large moving vans are able to access the Saint Augustine FL pickup location. I have not yet found a home in Colorado Springs. It will not be on post. I am the mother of the service member. And no DITY. I see you have one driver. I do not believe that would be sufficient, since it is a 2 floor unit and there is at least one very heavy piece on 2nd floor--an armoire. I had a national moving chain estimate weight at 6675 pounds. (11/19/2009)
Response: Thank you for the reply. If I am able to round up a load going to FL. I would have another person or two to help load your belongings. As I get older my knees do not not like stairs as much as they use to. The weight you have listed is not a problem and I will have plenty of space in the trailer. Please keep me posted as to what day you would like to move. Once we get your belongings back to Colorado I could deliver them to you at just about anytime as I live appx. one hour form Colorado Springs. If you have any questions just send me an e-mail. Thanks for your time, Ken (11/23/2009)
Question: Do you have any questions about my bid? Thanks. (11/27/2009)
Question: Hello, do you still need bids on moving your belongings? (11/28/2009)
