Question: One area we would like to bring to your attention is that Uship has now added a helpful feature that protects the shipper. This feature allows you to click on the service provider's screen name, opening their profile page. On the provider's profile page you should see an MC number, all legal carriers are granted an MC number. If an MC number is not present on the profile, proceed with caution. More importantly, Uship has added protection by allowing you to click on the MC number of those who have provided one, and look at the federal public record to see if that provider's licensing is active and whether or not they have the special licensing needed to move household goods. We strongly urge you to use this wonderful feature and we applaud Uship for bringing this feature to the site; it was greatly needed. Usually, we come to the home the day before we load the cargo to prep it or wrap and protect it. Then, the following day we return to load all items in the trailer. From this point we drive the items keeping excellent communication by giving you progress reports daily. On arrival, after giving you at least a day's notice, we unload, position each item in the home where you desire it be put, assemble anything disassembled, and clean up.
