Question:
11/23/2013
Will everything fit inside a 26ft truckReport a Violation
Response: Yes11/23/2013Report a Violation
Response: i can do it for 480011/23/2013Report a Violation
Response: We also have some stuff in CT (zip 06250). These are 6 small (bookshelf sized) wardrobes that need special padding. How much would it add if you picked that up before or after picking up the main stuff in 21210? Timing for the CT stuff is flexible. Thanks! Hi Rob, I'm not sure you saw my last set of questions. We are interested in working with you, but we have a few questions. 1. Is your bid final or what factors could increase or decrease the final price? 2. How much down payment do you require? 3. What is the weight limit on your trailer? 4. How do you determine the amount of stuff that we have? Is the description of 2 bedrooms enough or would you like to know more? 5. Can you do pick-up on 12/21 or is there a window around that? How long do you estimate for delivery? 6. Do you have insurance that covers damages to the house that we are moving into? Thanks, Christian11/23/2013Report a Violation
Response: tolls and fuel will come to about 400..anyway if booked now i can do both for 530011/23/2013Report a Violation
Response: Rob, we are interested in working with you, but we still have a few questions: 1. What capacity does your trailer have? 2. Do you carry insurance for damages to the house during the move-in process? 3. Is your bid final or what factors can result in a higher or lower final price? 4. What payment methods do you accept and how much (if any) down payment do you require? 5. How do you determine the size of our move? Is the number of bedrooms sufficient or do you need more information? We just want to make sure there are no misunderstandings. 6. How long do you estimate the drive to Seattle? Thanks, Christian 11/24/2013Report a Violation
Response: When I told you price I was hoping you would accept cause I had someone in Washington that wanted me to do there job . Cant do it for that now. But when I give a price. It doesnt change unless you add more to inventory. Or not mention stairs or other important info that affect move. I am extremely honest and trustworthy as well as reliable. I dont try to get over on no one. And try to treat people how I would like to be treated11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: So that means you are not able to do the job? 11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: I could do it. But nit for price I quoted cause I didnt take other job in Washington. In order for me to take that job I needed yours. So I just thru out a price to you that I was hoping you woukd jump on right then. It was cheaper than I normally would charge. Its hard to find work from washington and I had I good paying shipment I could have took. But I didnt hear from you. And they needed a decision within a few hours. 11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: It would have been helpful to know that you were under such time pressure. What is your price now, including the additional items in Connecticut? 11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: Im sorry. I didnt want to put pressure on you. Im going to pukk off at next reststop and figure out bid. Do you kniw approx weight of your shipment11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: I had a Mayflower agent over who estimated 7000 lbs. I have no clue if this is close or not. Basically, we are a 2 person household and moved from a 1100 sqft. apartment 1 year ago and did not buy much. We have 2 queen size beds, a couch, a love seat, 46inch TV and stand, small coffee table, 2 IKEA desks, dining room set with 4 chairs, 6 folding chairs, 2 stools, 3 little IKEA bedside tables, 1 dresser, 3 lamps, 3 bookcases and approx 40-50 normal size moving boxes and a few suitcases. In addition, 6 bookcase-sized wardrobes in Connecticut and a few carpets/rugs. Our current house has a level basement and we will put all boxes and some furniture there. Most of the furniture is first floor (half flight of stairs) and only beds and desks on 2nd floor, but we will help with that too. We will have to carry stuff out of basement since there is gravel, which won't work for a dolly, but the way to the street is short. Not sure what situation in Seattle looks like, but hopefully elevat11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: Whats the earliest it can be moved11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: Optimally it would be ON 12/21, but if it makes a major difference, we may be able to work with you on earlier dates. Let me know what works.11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: I've got a few options..i was going to rent a truck for your job..which still could do..but it sounds like everything will fit in my trailer..only concern is the weight..i have a capacity of about 6200 pound.was wondering if sending some of the heavier boxes freight is a option?11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: I really don't know what the actual weight is and how good the Mayflower estimate is. Seems high to me. Anyway, among the boxes are about 10 small boxes (size 24 beer bottles) with books, which could possibly be mailed, but we would have to consider that in terms of total cost. That would reduce some weight. How can you make sure that you don't overload? Does the trailer have a scale or is it just your estimate? Our stuff is really not very heavy. Some items I forgot to mention: golf bag, small desk, 2 mirrors. That should be it.11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: i go by my estimate..basically i can tell by looking..also can tell by tires on trailer..unless you got a lot of really heavy boxes or furniture .everything should be able to go..11/26/2013Report a Violation
Response: Some boxes are heavy, some are light. We are moving nothing unusual here. furniture is not heavy. Let me know what you can offer and what date works.11/26/2013Report a Violation
