Questions for this shipment:

Question: What date you would like the items loaded? We will work out a plan of action to accommodate you. We carry $1,000,000.00 of liability insurance and insure cargo at up to $50,000.00, at no additional cost to the customer. We transport all items in a 42ft enclosed carrier that has 110v lighting, climate control, and alarm system. The trailer can hold approx. 2000 cubic ft. of cargo at up to 35,000 lbs. My wife, myself, and our daughters would set out for FL in advance of your pickup date from our base hauling various other items, unload, and then prepare to load you. I am an owner of the company and would employ one other professional strong male mover to assist in loading, organizing, and unloading. We would give you a daily status updates while items are in transit, along with providing you with 24 hr business contact number. Lastly, we would give you a gift card for a free meal at Applebee's as a token of our appreciation for the job. Can we count on this job? ~ SAG Industries Inc~ (11/6/2008)
Response: We are looking at Nov 18 or 19 but are flexable.Would like delivered by that weekend or shortly after. We were also looking for a bid to pack us up. Thank you, Larry (11/6/2008)
Question: Larry, Would you accept our bid at $3600 as an all-inclusive bid, including packing, loading, and unloading? I will also take your motorcycle free of charge as a concession to thank you and your family for giving us the job. We would spend the time needed boxing items, bubble wrapping or wrapping the fragile items in newspaper before loading, and I would employ one other strong laborer besides myself to assist with the loading and unloading. We can accommodate your dates and now ask if you would accept our bid at $3600. If you want to pack your small, loose items in boxes and just have myself and my laborer load and unload everything, we would do the job for $3300, also including the motorcycle. Please let us know. Thanks, Erin & Jerry ~ SAG Industries Inc (11/6/2008)
Response: Do you supply the packing material, boxes, bubble wrap, paper etc? (11/7/2008)
Response: Yes, we can provide packing materials. We would need to know what you need as far as how many boxes, how much bubble packing, etc. Also we would like to know whether or not you want to pack and save on cost or do you plan have the mover company pack for you, in addition to loading, driving, and unloading. Please let us know ASAP as we are trying to decide what jobs to book and what routes to take over the next 6 weeks. Thank you, Erin & Jerry ~ SAG Industries Inc (11/7/2008)
Response: How do I know how much packing material I need. I have never done this before. I have always had the mover do it. Also the time frame for the move is slightly different. I would like to pack on 11/20/08, load truck on 11/21/08 and deliver by 11/25/08 if possible. That would allow me time to drive out myself and obtain the key to the rental property out there. (11/7/2008)
Response: Larry, we would bring to your home 6 wardrobe boxes, 6 other large square boxes, 6 medium boxes, and 15 small boxes along with newspaper, bubble wrap, and packing tape if you feel that would be sufficient--its hard for us to gave without looking at your home in person--we are going strictly off the inventory list. We own approximately 20 blankets, 2 hand trucks, and two dollies that we store within the trailer we would load your items. If we need packing materials in excess, we could obtain more locally once we have begun the packing. We will do what ever it takes to get the job done and to keep you and your family happy. Are we making any progress in coming to an agreement. We do not like to submit a bid until all the details are worked out so we can outline those terms in the bid contract itself--it protects both of our interests. Please let us know. Thanks, Jerry & Erin ~ SAG Industries Incorporated (11/7/2008)
Question: What is a price that is fair to us, yet one that you are comfortable enough with to accept our bid immediately? ~ SAG Industries Inc~ (11/7/2008)
Response: If my time frame for packing, loading and delivery is workable, then your bid of $3600 inclusive would be acceptable. Please advise. If all goes as planned, then I would give you an additional $200 - $400 at completion of job. (11/8/2008)
Response: Larry, thanks for getting back to us. In this business it helps us to know if a job can be counted on as soon as possible because the logistics of it all take a lot of precise planning if we are to keep a good running schedule that is dependable for the customer, yet profitable for the company. We agree to your offered price as long as you are willing to accept a few conditions that we present to all household goods customers. These conditions will be outlined in the following e-mail. The conditions only apply to the household goods and not the motorcycle as the motorcycle is easier to protect from damage because it has rubber wheels and suspension and will not have anything stacked on or pressing against it. It will be covered and strapped to the floor with soft straps. After reading the terms and conditions in the following e-mail please let us know if we are in agreement and we will submit the bid at $3600.00 Also, thank you for offering the extra at completion. ~SAG Industries Inc~ (11/8/2008)
Question: Caution! Please review all profiles and feedback. I offer service that dhe cost and does not require you to wire or send a deposit to me before your move date. Make sure you ask! I also am a legal provider and not a broker! I am not only the owner but I am the driver and mover. My bid is listed below for 4200.00 and this covers labor for loading and unloading along with transport of your motorcycle. If you need packing service I can provide that to at a hourly rate and it will include 20 lrg boxes and some dish packs. let me know how many boxes you think you will need and how much stuff you have and I will qoute you on the packing. Please feel free to ask me anything you want. The more questions the better. (11/8/2008)
Question: We will do the job for $3600 on the conditions that you accept our bid immediately, you agree to work through any problems with us that may arise to enable a happy resolution, and that you leave us prompt positive feedback upon completion to your satisfaction. We want you to understand that even though we put forth the utmost care in blanket-wrapping furniture and strategically positioning items to lock them into place, it is still possible that some minor damage could occur due to vibrations and movements within the trailer over such a great distance of driving. Please do not leave us negative feedback for any minor damage that may occur. Our 100% feedback on Uship is essential to our livelihood. If there is a major concern please give us the opportunity to work out a solution with you, one that keeps you happy. We request that you promise not to resort to negative feedback unless we fail you in some major way, intentionally and deliberately. Can you agree to these terms? ~SAG Inc~ (11/8/2008)
Response: I understand that you will provide the utmost care to my belongings. I need to know if the timeframe will work, that is my main concern. If the dates that I have given to you work, then I will give you the job. I have used U-Ship in the past with great satisfaction. Please let me know about the dates. (11/8/2008)
Response: We are able to service the dates to pack on 11/20/08, load truck on 11/21/08, and can deliver by 11/25/08, but ask if you would graciously allow us a little more time to deliver. If we load on the 21st we would not depart until rested on the 22nd. Also, federal regulation restricts the number of hours we can drive in a day along with the number of hours we can be on duty. We have to keep record logs and are audited by the government once a year--household moves are highly regulated. We can make it there by the evening of 24th to unload the morning of the 25th if it’s essential, but ask for a little more time if you can afford to allow it considering your career obligations etc. Additionally, we usually make a stop or two to load and unload other customers along the way because one job at a time does not pay well enough to cover all the business expenses at approx 10k per month. We would like a few days extra in route to deliver ATVs or other motorcycles etc. before we reach New Mexico (11/8/2008)
Response: The 26th would OK, the 27th is Thanksgiving and I would like it no later than the 28th.Delivery on Thanksgiving would be Ok with us, but we might have to order out if you want a turkey dinner! That would give my wife a few days to settle in before she starts her new job on 12/1/08. How will I know which day you could deliver? Would you keep us informed by cell phone? She will be out there by Monday, 11/24/08. She is planning on leaving Florida on the 11/22/08 and hopes to only need 2 days to drive out. I think we are finally ready for final approval. Thanks, Larry (11/9/2008)
Question: Larry, We are happy we have made progress with you and your wife and hope we can come to an agreement. In the meantime of our negotiating we have been offered another job paying $6500 to transport household goods from Virginia to Montana and they will need to be picked up on 12/01/08. With that said, we need to leave ample time to make the trip from New Mexico after unloading your items, if we are to take your job. This may be a solution allowing us to drop off your items on the date(s) you prefer. Ideally, we would like to begin unloading your items on Monday the 24th once your wife arrives, the 25th at latest. However, it is essential that we are back on the road by the 26th at the latest so we are not late for the December pickup in VA. Larry, will you work with us and allow us to begin the packing and loading process a little sooner in Florida? (regarding item tracking, to be continued in another e-mail--Uship limits characters). ~SAG Industries Inc~ (11/9/2008)
Response: Can pack on 11/19 and load on 11/20? any sooner and it may be too difficult for my wife. She will try to get key to new house on 11/24 early in morning but you may not be able to start unloading until noon that day. We will be as cooperative as possible to make this happen and for you to get to your other job. Also, I enjoy writting great reviews for the people that serve us well,as I did for the other u-ship companies I have used. Thanks, Larry (11/9/2008)
Response: Larry, We appreciate your goodwill and great attitude. We will submit an official bid momentarily around the details we have discussed w/ a packing date of no later than the 19th. Please promptly accept it. We feel that if we load no later than the 19th, that we can complete your job and have just enough time to make it to VA. We would never expect you to inconvenience your wife, but if her situation happens to change allowing for packing on the 17th or 18th, please let us know. We too like to leave feedback, and hope upon the conclusion of our dealings, that we will both feel led to leave glowing feedback. We try to respond to all of our feedback on here--it is fun. Check out our responses to past jobs if you ever have the time--some are comical. We especially find the 14,000 lbs (7 tons) of dog food job funny! We looked at your previous two hires on Uship and feel confident that you are a man of goodwill and will help us to make this a smooth transaction. Thanks, Erin & Jerry ~SAG~ (11/9/2008)
Question: We would send you daily status updates for tracking and other relevant information, in addition to our 24hr business line. If there is one character trait we feel we excel at as a business, it is our communication. If we are able to come to terms on all of these details in which we have invested our valuable time in shaping, they will be outlined in the bid contract. This is why we wait to submit our official bid. Once these terms are put in the bid contract, we do not ask for changes unless an emergency requires it. We take our commitments very seriously. ~SAG Industries Inc~ (11/9/2008)
Response: Sounds like a win win situation! Thanks, Larry (11/9/2008)
