Additional Information: We are currently in 2 - 10x15 units. I'm sure it could be packed better but that should give an idea. I am thinking it would fill a 26' truck. If by chance it was necessary to add a trailer I can pay for that as well. There are no appliances, no car parts, no weights. It is mostly furniture and lots of boxed up items. There is one band saw that is about 5 1/2 ft tall. I will be in CA on 6/21 to 7/5 and back in Philadelphia area 7/6. I had to relist this ad as time had expired, but if you bid on it before, please do so again. Report a Violation

Question:
5/24/2014
Hi Sarah can you give me a inventory list or size of storage unit. Thanks Cory Report a Violation
Response: Hi Cory, it is a lot of stuff. We are currently in 2 - 10x15 units. I'm sure it could be packed better but that should give an idea. I am think it would fill half of a semi truck trailer. My company is going to reimburse me so I'm not really looking for the lowest bidder. I think someone would need at least 30 - 40 feet of space in a trailer. thank, Sarah Cory, I was just thinking that someone with a semi truck and empty trailer would be perfect. If there was space at the end to pick up other loads or jobs that would be cool. Sarah5/24/2014Report a Violation
Response: Sarah, I can offer you a price of $9800.00. This includes loading and unloading and blanket wrapping exposed furniture. We are fully insured and will be in the area around 6/10. Let me know if this would work for you. Thanks, Cory 5/24/2014Report a Violation

Question:
5/24/2014
Can I get a accurate inventory Report a Violation
Response: Hi, it would be tough to get an accurate list. I can tell you it is a house full of stuff. We are currently in 2 - 10x15 units. I'm sure it could be packed better but that should give an idea. I am thinking it would fill half of a semi truck trailer. My company is going to reimburse me so I'm not really looking for the lowest bidder. I think someone would need at least 30 - 40 feet of space in a trailer. Actually if you have a empty semi truck I would be interested in the whole thing and if you have space at the end and can pick up other jobs that would be cool. thanks, Sarah5/24/2014Report a Violation
Response: So you don't think it will fit in a 26ft truck?5/25/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Rob, it's difficult for me to guess. I would think so, but would allow towing a trailer just in case. Is that possible? thanks, Sarah5/27/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes that's a possibility. When is the earliest it can be picked up5/27/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Rob, I'm trying to get a feel for how much it will cost so I can ask my company to advance it to me and we can get the ball rolling. The timing of this is very flexible. I've never done this before so I don't know what the protocol is for payment. Is there a down payment and the balance at the end? If a company is paying for it is it handled via a Purchase Order and invoice? Thoughts? thanks, Sarah Rob, if we went with everything that will fit in a 26 ft truck, can you tell me what the cost would be based on that? I will be in CA beginning 6/21. If that timeframe doesn't work, we can discuss another date range. Thanks, Sara5/29/2014Report a Violation

Question:
6/6/2014
Hi Sarah, We placed a bid to haul your storage units. We use a 40' trailer, with 2100 cubic feet. Should be plenty for your load. Can you tell me if there are any, Books, Auto parts, Tools, Weights, Records, Appliances?Report a Violation
Response: Hi, there are no appliances, no weights, no records, no auto parts. The tools are in a tool box and weighs approximate 60 lbs. Other tools are electrical such as routers, bench grinder, band saw, and a drill press (bench type). I have a few boxes of books. Let me know if you have other questions. thanks, Sarah6/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: Is there access for a truck with a 40' trailer cloe to the doors? Storage is ground level outside door access?6/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi, I will have to ask that question and get back to you. I believe the storage is on the second floor. They have a large elevator and large carts. I can ask for photos of that is helpful. I can also provide some helpers with the loading in CA and unloading in PA. Do you put padding between the furniture? thanks, Sarah6/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes, I have atleast one helper with me and sometimes two depending how big the move is. Our trailer is a standard width about 8.5 ft. We get in most standard places but some are old and really hard to maneuver. If you have help to get the furniture to the trailer then its not that big of deal. We have dollies, pallet jack w/ pallets if needed. We supply padded blankets for the furniture and stretch wrap if needed. 6/6/2014Report a Violation
Question:

so are you ready to bidReport a Violation
Response: There have been two posted bids so far and a couple of others that put their price in the body of their message. I am new to this but I think there has to be a bid placed before I can accept one. Some additional info: I was asked if the storage was on the ground floor. It is on the second floor I believe and the place has a large elevator and large carts. It is mostly furniture and boxes of personal stuff. No appliances, no weights, no auto parts. I will be in Oxnard from 6/21 to 7/6 so I can be there to help direct, provide some helpers, etc. thanks, Sarah6/6/2014Report a Violation

I would also point out that sometimes working with people you can count on helps. Click on our name and read some of our reviews. We are fast, cautious, and courteous. We get the job done for a reasonable price, we do not low ball bids here for impulse booking. We prefer to offer a detailed quote that matches the time, space, and labor required. Thanks for the responses to my questions.Report a Violation
Response: Thank you, everything sounds great so far. I will be in CA from 6/21 to 7/5. Does that time frame work for you? If not, I don't actually have to be there when you load because my best friend is willing to make contact. It's more important that I be on hand in PA when the load arrives. thanks, Sarah6/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: The dates for us are open at the moment so we can adjust within a few days if you decide to book the load. I am booked up later in July and august as these are the busy months for moving families with school out and such.6/6/2014Report a Violation
Question:
6/7/2014
Can you tell me how far our trailer would be from the elevator, and how far your storage units are from it also? Are the units next to each other? I would like to get an idea on labor to load it. Shuttling takes alot of time so distances are important to help estimate time. We could pick it up between 7/3-7/5. I prefer Saturday 7/5 if possible and I will deliver it in about 7 days.Report a Violation
Response: Hi, you can park the trailer next to a door and the elevator is just inside the door, so basically about ten feet. On the second floor the storage units are about 50 feet from the elevator. My roommate used professional movers to put them in the storage units and they commented that they really like the flat carts that the storage place has available. I'm leaving early in the morning on 7/5 so if it's possible to do it on either 7/4 or 7/3 that would be awesome. I'm there from 6/21 to 7/5 and available any of the days. Thanks, Sarah6/7/2014Report a Violation
Response: We could do 7/4 in the morning, I don't think we would make it by 7/3. I am dropping off in Corvallis OR on 7/2 and would be driving down if we got the job. 6/7/2014Report a Violation
Response: Okay, that would be great. I just spoke to my roommate and we're going to see if the storage place has a ground floor outside unit that we can consolidate into and that would make it easier for you.6/7/2014Report a Violation
Response: I don't think that would be necessary. I was looking at my schedule and may adjust my pick up to 6/22 or 6/23, and push my Oregon move back a week or two since they are flexible. What is the earliest delivery date? 6/7/2014Report a Violation

6/9/2014
Hi Sarah, This is Luis with M.A.S. Moving, I noticed you selected the delivety date as 7/31/ once we we pick up, we can deliver with in a week.. are you felxible with your delivery date? FYI... I also noticed that a few of other carriers ask if a trailer is big enough or a 26' truck or if it can be parked.. this are nonsense questions,, you are not the carrier or the mover and it seems to me a sign of disrespect for such lingo to be allowed. Any licensed carrier knows that it is up to the carrier to provide an adecuate safe truck,, Sarah, I am prepared to repost a new and lower rate once you kindly answer my questions. Clarity is the way we do business. Regards. Report a Violation
Response: Hi Luis, I am very flexible. I will be in CA from 6/21 to 7/5 then returning to Philadelphia area. I thought it would be easier if I was there for the loading but it is not required. My roommate in CA can assist in giving access. It's more important that I be on hand for the unloading in PA. For that, I will be available from 7/6 and beyond. I just picked 7/31 to put a date there. What does your time frame look like? Thanks, Sarah6/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Sarah, I aporeaciate your prompt response.. we would require to load asap it in the next few days.. we have a schedule pick up and your shipment must by loaded first since is the last out. We would deliver around the 24-27th. What are your thoughts? Regards. Luis.6/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Luis, unfortunately the loading would have to be after the 6/21 when I get to CA. I have some items on the Navy base that I have to move off to the storage unit, then everything can be loaded from storage. I would be back in PA until 7/6 to receive delivery. Response: Hi Sarah, I appreciated the follow up, unfortunately we can not perform on your move based on your dates. We have a commitment and we must have one of my clients out by July 1st in Baltimore,, this is an international move to Mexico and they have priority due to reserving 6 months in advance. Sarah, let me know if you are able to allow us to pick up without you being present,, I am open to any other sugetions.. Regards. Luis Ortiz M.A.S. Report a Violation
Response: Hi Luis, Actually, anytime after 6/25 would be fine. When I get to CA on 6/21 I need a couple of days to move some of my things off of the Navy base into my storage unit. My roommate in Oxnard could meet you at another date to give you access to the storage facility. I will be back in PA on 7/6, so anytime after that for delivery is fine. This is the first time I've used this type of service. I saw on the website I have to put about 10% down as a deposit. How does the rest of it work? My company is paying for this move so I need to tell them how payment works. Thanks, Sarah6/11/2014Report a Violation
Response: HI Sarah, the 10% fee is to reserve your move,, we gladly accept wire transfers, company checks and credit cards with 4@ processing fee if you are [paying in advance. If you pay at destination we accept cashier checks only since you will know the total in advance. Our company will re-inburse you the 10 % deposit, Once full payment is processed from your company. It is very simple. Sarah, I do want to be clear that you are not able to meet our truck departing now 0n the June 17th. and we will be making a dedicated delivery for you on a dedicated truck targeting your specific dates. I will repost a new bid for your acceptance. Once you accept, we will have each other contact info and we will call you to prepare a contract outlinning the cost and dates of services and insurance provided, at $100.000.00 cargo and basic insurance, no cost to you. Response: Hi Luis, I'm not able to have your truck arrive in CA until after 6/25. All of my belongings are not all in my storage unit. I have items on the Navy base that i can't move until I get there on 6/21. Then I have to move them from the base to my storage unit. From that point on I can be flexible and have a friend meet your truck if you arrive in CA after 7/5. I will be on hand in PA after 7/6. Please let me know your thoughts. thanks, Sarah Hi Luis, I'm just checking in to see where we are in the process. I've just paid an additional month on the storage units so we now have until 7/14 to load up. When I am in CA I will get my things off of the Navy base into my storage units and my roommate in CA can meet someone to load up if a different date is more achievable. Thanks,Sarah6/12/2014Report a Violation
Response: Dearest Sarah,, The dates are fine since we are working on targeting your move dates. If you are ok with our highest rate, pleae acept our bid so we can reserve the move dates. Normally we would like to have you on our calendar at least one month in advance. I want to be sure you are moving with us. I understand that we will pick up from storage and possibly another location. Our rate includes 2 types of movers insurance. The next phase once we are both clear and there are no major questions or issues, is to commit. If we are able to pick up before the end of the month, Our long distance moves include one month free storage. Regards. Luis Ortiz M.A.S. Moving Los Angeles, Ca. 6/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Luis, I don't think we are on the same page. I don't need a dedicated truck and your last bid is out of my price range. I need to be at about $8,000. When the shipment occurs isn't really the problem. There won't be two places to pick up, just one which is my storage unit. When I arrive in CA on 6/21, I will go to the Navy base and get the rest of my things to put in my storage unit. So, you will have just one place to go. When you arrive to load up is totally flexible depending on your calendar needs. I just thought it would be easier if I was there, but it is not totally necessary. My roommate can meet you if you are not able to come before 7/5. Let me know what you think. thanks, Sarah6/16/2014Report a Violation

Question:
6/17/2014
Hello Sarah! I saw in some of your above comments that you are thinking you need about half a semi trailer. That would be 26.5 feet. I can bring a box truck that is 25.5 feet, and if necessary I can bring a small trailer as well. Will you have any people to help load and unload or will you need me to supply some movers? I am looking at being in California next week, so if that time works for you, I could have your things to you in PA within a week from pickup. Let me know, thanks! Alex - All Things MovedReport a Violation
Response: Hi Alex, I think a box truck as you described would do it and like you said a trailer could be used just in case. I will be in CA from 6/21 to 7/5. I can provide people on both ends. When I arrive in CA on 6/21 I will need a day or two to get some things that are on the Navy base and move them to my storage unit. The storage facility has very nice large carts and can hold lots of stuff. The storage units are on the second floor close to the elevator, about 50 feet. The elevator is right next to an exterior door which is very handy for loading. I guess I'd need to know your thoughts and price for with or without a trailer. Thanks, Sarah 6/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Ok great. Well if you are providing people on both ends, where I just need to bring myself, the truck, and the supplies, I could offer a price of $5,750. If you need the trailer as well, the additional cost would be $625, for a total of $6,375. Let me know your thoughts! Alex - All Things Moved6/17/2014Report a Violation
