Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi can you type in an inventory list I need something to base a fair price on. Just take your best guess. Thanks Wade45 (9/2/2009)
Response: Another moving company came and did an estimate and the said our stuff would be no more than 933 cubic feet and 5691 lbs. Is that sufficient? (9/3/2009)
Response: Hi Yes that does help, you will need about 20ft of my trailer. I have a 28ft enclosed trailer with blanket tie straps dollys the back door of my trailer is a low sloping ramp so its easy in and out. I have positive feed back to view it just click on my name. The price is 2200.00 with no hidden fees. I will need help to load and unload for I will be by myself. I can make your moving date. If this works for you let me know and I will place a formal bid. Any questions just ask. Thanks Wade45 (9/3/2009)
Response: Just to let you know, the destination has changed slightly - we will be going to the South End in Boston instead of Sommerville. It is about 5 miles difference. We are still working out the details with our landlord - how much flexibility do you have with the pickup and delivery dates? (9/3/2009)
Response: Hi No problem on the new delivery location. I can be flexible on the dates, what do you have in mind? Wade45 (9/3/2009)
Response: Hi Wade: Sorry for the delay. Are you still interested in the move? Here's the issue: I'd like to load the truck on Friday 9/25 but right now based on my flight I can't unload the truck until Sunday 9/27 after 7:30 PM or so. Or I could unload Monday morning. Any thoughts, suggestions? Thanks, Dave (9/10/2009)
Response: Hi Dave, Loading on the 25 works good for me and unloading on monday is good also I try to keep things pretty simple and dont push myself to hard. Let me know when you are ready for a bid and we will get you on the calendar. Wade45 (9/10/2009)
Response: Thanks Wade, How does insurance work? Can you help me with that - I think I'd like to fully insure the load. Also, can you provide your shipper numbers (DOTs MCs etc)? I have emailed my new landlord to confirm that we can get in on the 28th. I'd say we are good to put on the calendar as soon as he gets back to me - hopefully today. I'm also looking to hire another set of hands to help load and unload the truck. (9/10/2009)
Response: Hi Dave I carry a standard cargo insurance. My truck and trailer are under 26,000 GVW [gross vehicle weight] so I am not required to have a CDL or DOT# my GVW is 10,000 thats why I only do smaller moves like yours. I have been doing this for 2 years so far everything is going good my feed back will tell you the kind of work I do. Let me know your thoughts on all this and we will go from there. Thanks Wade45 (9/10/2009)
Response: Hi Wade: Your feedback looks great and I'm pretty much ready to do this - I'd just like to purchase insurance just in case there is an accident and all my stuff is ruined. Do you know how I can do this? I called my rental insurance company and they said I'd probably have to get insurance through the shipper. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so much Dave (9/15/2009)
Response: Hi Dave. Their is a place on the uship web site ware you can purchase additional insurance. I have never been on your end so I am not sure how to guide you threw it. I do have the phone # to uship so, I will place a bid and once you except it our contact info will be released I can then help you to locate some additional insurance. Thanks Wade45 (9/15/2009)
Question: Hello. If you rent a 17' truck for a one way delivery, we will load, deliver and unload for a total of $1,600. This includes the gas. Let me know if you are interested. (9/3/2009)
Question: hi , i just bid $ 2.020 if u consider to rent a 24- 26 truck pls read my profile . I can tell u in a minute once i see what u got or provide a detailed list .I will advice to get a biger truck and make sure will fit. THANK YOU , ROBY. (9/6/2009)
Question: Hello. Roby is correct. You would need the 24' to be on the safe side. If you rent it, we will load, deliver and unload for a total of $1,600. Let me know what you think. (9/11/2009)
Question: hello, the correct distance for your move is 1.410 miles not 1.000, u need to rectify that pls.I just recomend u to get a biger TRUCK since u have no list, the 22,24,26 BOX PENSKE trucks here at storage where i move people( 30 miles south from u) one way it cost$ 1.268 and fully insured for$ 85 once u rent from them. For 6k lbs.u need any of those trucks, for a safer ride, regardless of size( almost 1000 cubic ft,how u said)I just came from NY.and i knew the distance to your destination should be longer than just 1.000 miles. I used to live in kenm. north , not far from u. Since u r Chicago area , i can rebid again for 1.750 ONLY if u request , for all services i provide,i bring my own 2 different dollies, i can pack and move u overnight,on any day u need . IF thats still doesnt fit your budget or needs, there are lot of good people here ,all movers are here to help out.I need to get my own new truck ,but then for all my services i will charge lot more.Thank u. ROBY/EUROGUY 9/15at 5pm (9/15/2009)
Question: Any of the movers can help u out regarding any insurance ,once u accept their bid.How i said are all here to help out. THANK YOU. ROBY ...again.. (9/15/2009)
Question: Don't make the mistake of hiring someone without DOT & MC numbers. No insurance company in the world will insure your shipment because they are not legal to do interstate transport. If they have an accident or get pulled over for a speeding ticket the DOT will impound their truck, trailer and all your belongings. I don't blame a guy for trying to provide for his family in this tough economy but running illegal across state lines is not the way to do it. Even if they only have a pickup truck, if they are crossing state lines for hire they need both DOT and MC numbers to be legal and insured. We pay big bucks in insurance & other DOT mandated stuff to be legal so that we protect our clients. Please take another look at our bid. For the same money you get a legal unsure company. We are providing $25,000 in cargo insuance free and two men to handle all loading/ unloading. We are providing a 26 foot moving truck with an air ride suspension. Hope to earn your business, Brian-BiletiCreative (9/16/2009)
Question: Hi,are you still lookinf for movers I place my bid under inxpensive (9/16/2009)
Question: hello SIR at your request,i decided to rebid again 1.750 if that can help u out ,and only if u decide to rent. How i just said any of the movers can help u out regarding moving insurance etc.. but probably less MR. BRIAN from BILETI CREATIVE and no offense , please but its very SELFISH for a person/even more for a honest moving company to say "dont go with that mover,go with me " cause im insured. From so many years i drove and the gentlemen should know ,when u rent a truck from any company, they do provide( if u request )full insurance for your goods for very low price if u rent from them.I think its just a matter of time until they will run out of business by advertising themselves this way,SAITS A RIP OFF WHAT ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES AND THE RICH DO,same AS CREDIT CARDS ,CREDIT SCORE BUREAUS etc.. who take advantages of poor and people with no credit. How i said im new here.So shipper, please u do whats best for you regardless what me or another mover has to say.THANK YOU ROBY (9/16/2009)
Question: sorry for mistake ,i meant THATS A RIP OFF from insurance companies. What other gentlemen said earlier to try to convince u regarding hes the one with insurance , its the same as i would say DONT GO WITH ANY OTHER MOVER CAUSE NONE OF THEM PROVIDE U WITH MORE SERVICES THAN I DO and none are able to work 24/7 for days how i do cause they dont have my endurance. But i wont say that cause i cant lower that way . SHIPPER please the decision its yours, im new in here and i dont beg or sabotage other movers or flag others how i seen many they do. I have to give it a try in here see if it work and im dissapointed and im sick of such people.NO OFFENSE please. THATS ALL. In jobs i do here at storage i do charge lot more for all my services, especial when i work 30 to 50 hours straight at one time on the biger jobs. THANK YOU AGAIN , ROBY ( EUROGUY) sept. 16 at 5pm (9/16/2009)
Question: I stand corrected, if you rent a truck you can get cargo insurance on it and your driver doesn't need to have DOT or MC numbers. Its just that renting a truck is very expensive so most people don't go that route. I in no way meant to state that I am the only provider on Uship that operates legally with DOT, MC numbers and insurance. There are many other good providers on Uship. (9/17/2009)
