Question: Rate would be $2600 (50c per pound). Is that in your budget? 100% feedback and can provide 2 loaders and unloaders. Thanks, tooldad (7/7/2007)

Response: THANKS for the response. The weight I am providing is an estimate. Will you get the exact weight? What days do you have open for the move? Do you unassemble and reassemble (beds, washer/dryer, etc.)? (7/8/2007)

Response: Honestly it seems like you have a lot of stuff just to have 5000 lbs. Who did your estimate? Last time you moved, what size truck did you use and how many trips. I am afraid my 24ft trailer would not have enough space. I can rent semis and have done so in past. If I would do that it would be a fee of $600 to rent plus 50c per pound ($150 per day rental). I have 100% feedback and will provide a helper if you would contract my services. I need to be in TX by July 30, so load up would have to be closer to July 24-27th time frame. Please let me know, I am interested in earning your business. Thanks, tooldad (7/8/2007)

Response: HI! I moved here in January and it was Wheaton. They used an 18 wheeler. The majority of my larger items are lightweight. The bedroom set is a light pine, the coffee table set is plastic and glass, the bookcases, microwave cart and computer desk are pressed particle board. I have large, bulky furniture so the space would probably be an issue. I am thinking the additional $750 plus the $2600 would be to expensive. THANKS! (7/9/2007)

Response: I would be willing to cover the rental costs. I have another move coming back from TX that will help with that. How does the 2600 ($2 per mile) with 2 loaders sound for a rate. Pickup on the 24th and deliver the 28th. Thanks, tooldad (7/9/2007)

Response: I need to check on the dates. Total cost would be $2600.00? No additional costs or fees? Do you assemble and reassemble ie washer/dryer, beds, etc.? Thx (7/9/2007)

Response: I can provide those services. My typical rate is $25 per item that needs to be disassembled, and reassembled. I can do an all inclusive fee of $200 no matter how many items need be disassembled. However I cannot reconnect wires from computers or stereos. But assembling beds, dressers with mirrors, washer/dryer, etc. not a problem. So all inclusive would be $2800+uship fee, right about $3000 with all fees. I will include 8 hours loading time and 4 hours unload time in bid. additional hours are $60 per hour, but I can typically load a 3br house in 6 hours and unload in 2-3. Max weight would be 10000 pounds for your stuff in order to allow room for other shipment. Other than possible needing additional time, no additional fees, bid is all inclusive. You are encouraged to assist with loading and unloading if you desire to prevent needing more time. Hope to be of service. Thanks, tooldad (7/9/2007)

Question: Hi movingal just checking to see if you still need this done awaiting your answer thank you (7/13/2007)

Response: Yes that is available right now if you have any other questions let us know thank you Henry (7/15/2007)

Question: We are closing in the booking date so I wanted to see if you were still moving on your dates listed. Please let me know if we can be of any further assistance. Kristi (7/15/2007)

Response: HI Kristi! Things seem to be going wrong already. I seem to be having trouble with housing, so the zip code is not definate. I need to start work August 1st in Abilene, so worse case senerio my stuff can be delivered to storage. It looks like I will need pick-up on the 27th and delivery on the 30th. Would that be possible? I am not going to have wardrobe boxes. I will have bagged grouped hanging clothes. I also won't have any really large boxes (like t.v. size) only medium (microwave size) and small. Some small being slight longer than boot shoe box size. I forgot to list the plastic storage containers. I have about 10 twenty gallon, 5 ten gallon and 4 under the bed style. THANKS! (7/15/2007)

Response: I hate moving myself, I have the same problem Murphy's law follow's me everywhere! I know Abilene so any zip code change isn't a major mileage difference. My bid will stay the same. If it has to go into storage I can give the name of a guy that can help move from stg to home for a very fair price as well. We'll get you picked up and delivered on your dates, I just need you to let me know as soon as possible so I can block out those days for you. I am booking that timeline right now so I wanted to check with you before I put anything else there. Thanks, Kristi
