the problem is that I have not seen my stuff in almost two years, so I have a hard time exactly estimating how many boxes there are. What I can tell you is that the bookshelfs are the big kind (like 6-7 feet tall) and a lot of the boxes are the books from these shelves, so they are fairly heavy. Does that help?

Pickup in IL can be at your request-I will leave my schedule open for the end of June or first of July for you specifically. My bid would be the $2100 but you would be responsible for the uship listing fee, but remember-you will be able to decide on your own pickup date and delivery. if you can accomondate the fact that the friends where the stuff is stored all work and it would be great if you could pick it up there in the late afternoon and deliver it here on the 1st, I will go with you. I have received bids as low as $1900 and was wondering if you were willing to lower your bid to $2000 and we have a deal? Also just to clarify, you would load and unload the truck, right? To get it here on the 1st, what day would you have to pick it up in Fairview? Response: Michael, in order for me to load and unload I will need to take someone with me from Potsdam to IL and then hire someone as well in Potsdam to help unload. There is no way that I can go down in price, if anything I will have to charge more for my labor and other labor, plus understand the price of fuel is high. I can not go down in price, sorry. Response: Michael, transporting your goods is no problem we just do not pack any boxes, everything has to be already boxed up and ready to transport. Question: Michael, I was just reviewing all of your items, and it looks like a lot. My hauler is 24 ft and I can give you the full use as a one way trip. My quote of $2100 was with help loading and unloading, if I have to hire someone to take with me, and hire help here in Potsdam then my bid will be $2300. I have boxed everything up when i left my stuff there, however there might be a random item or two that are not in boxes. I will take responsibility for any of those items in case they are damaged as long as you will still take them with you up here. I just need to make sure that ALL my stuff gets to Potsdam - is that ok? Also, as I have indicated before I would prefer the delivery on 07/01 - can you do that? You also have full use of my 24 ft hauler, I also have the bed of my pickup truck as well. Since we really do not know how much stuff you have, what do we do in case it does not all fit? well it was a two bedroom apartment - minus a few things - so the space you have sounds like it is enough for it - I would hope. Response: Michael, I transported a 2 bedroom condo for 2 different professors, in which I had plenty of room for one but the other one was tight, so it all depends. Anyways, when I meet with you Tues. you can give me a list of any items that are not so important and I can set them aside.
