Additional Information: We are moving from a three bedroom home Tulsa, Oklahoma into a two bedroom apartment in San Jose, California. We are not taking too much furniture:

King size bed, foot / head board, wide dresser ~ 70", chest of drawers, two large framed mirrors. One of the mirrors is actually about 4x4 but the frame is much larger (7x5) or so. We are taking a queen size bed (beds with box springs) and a frame. We have four bookshelves (normal size, 6x4~), two night stands, a dining room table that is already taken apart. We are only taking two of the dining room chairs with us. We are taking a standard size leather sofa (3 cushion), an office desk chair and two desks that are actually Milthrop Ikea tables, taken apart.

We have our kitchen goods: pots, pans, lids, a set of china (64 pieces), a set of dinner ware (70 pieces), multiple serving dishes, etc that are going. These will all be labeled and packed appropriately in DishPack(R) boxes. We have some small kitchen appliances, kitchenaid mixer, blender, coffee maker, etc.

We have a 44" television and a 55" television, two desktop tower computers, two smaller tower computers, two 27" monitors. Do not have a final box count.

Response: Our dates can be flexible, however we are currently packing now. We will likely not be finished with the packing itself until the week of December 23. I start a new job on January 6, 2014 and would like to be moved and able to unpack, setup our bed, etc by Jan 3-4 at latest. We do have a car to be transported as well, possibly. We have not decided if we are going to drive or fly. It is a 2006 Nissan Altima and runs fine.12/6/2013Report a Violation
Response: Thanks for the response and run down. Btw, it doesn't snow in San Jose(raised in Santa Clara County when I was younger) so you will for sure be out of the cold snow weather. It's always cheaper to drive a vehicle then to have it towed depending on if you have more than 1 vehicle. Anyway, for the household and vehicle we can do $3995. Let me know if this works for you. Another profile and other reviews and references are provided if only the bid is accepted due to Uships terms and policies(can't share contact info nor steer you offsite to share info). We are based out of Austin, been performing moves locally and long distance(I do enjoy going out west for work, then to visit all my family in Northern Cali at the same time) for over 4 years. As for what is covered during the move, since you will be doing the packing...you will be responsible for how things are packed inside the boxes and labeled for careful handling(fragile). hi, to answer your questions, our cost is base on inventory listed, distance to travel and all expenses we have to cover to do this job. truck rental, diesel fuel, food/lodging, insurance for the loads we transport, airfare to get to and from our jobs, and we still have to pay ourselves and still cover all other expenses our business have to cover, and still make a profit to keep our business to grow and get better. we are not here trying to rip people off, if it's will help to ease your cost for this move we will take your vehicle at the stated price. Response: We are still packing up and working through our inventory. We are leaving one dresser behind, so just taking two. The list is evolving.. Ideally, I would like pickup 26/27 and delivered 30 through 1 There is just so much detail to cover in 1000 characters on this website. Okay, so as far as our furniture goes, we do not have a whole lot. In terms of boxes of stuff, we do. I do not have a final count. I am discussing with my wife to make up our minds on a mover today (now) as soon as we have some questions answered. What day could you pick up and relatively what time? What day would you be delivering our stuff in San Jose and estimated time? I have to book flights around all of this as well. Will you wrap our furniture in blankets as to not get damaged? Response: This is appealing. What date would you be able to pick up and deliver? Also, we are finalizing our inventory that is moving. As we are packing we are deciding some things are not going. For example, we are now planning to take two dressers instead of three. However, I do not have a final count on total boxes of house hold goods. I had looked at renting a 22' truck and towing our car myself. I believe a 22' truck or trailer would house everything we need to move. Would you have adequate space? I am sure most people have unexpected box counts and such, but want to make sure we can get it as close as possible, but I will not know until we are finished packing. Would this be for our household goods and vehicle (2006 Nissan Altima) or just the goods / furniture? I do not see what date you would pickup or deliver on. Justin, I can of course come down on price if not shipping the vehicle. Driving the vehicle will take about $300, if not less, in fuel, so of course that would be the cheapest to get your car there. The compute stuff and monitors will need to be boxes with bubble wrap for protection. As for the tv's, those 2 will need to be blanket wrapped and boxed for protection. Pickup would be between the 1st-2nd with delivery between the 3rd-4th. These are the only dates we can help. I'll place a bid with those dates and if they work, great.
