Response: Hello Chad, At moment I am waiting Dept. Of Defense clear my End User Certificate, it may will take a few weeks until I see this certificate back to me. Without it they will not release the truck. have you ever picked up a Military Truck on those places before? Thanks, Ed (11/30/2007)
Response: I haven't yet have some trailers to deliver to a base and they told me all I needed was a license and my proof of insurance. Thank you for your quick responce. Chad (12/2/2007)
Response: That's for trailers, Military Vehicles are required by DOD to have an approved EUC (End User Certificate) as they don't want those vehicles sold to a list of countries and individuals. My approved EUC will probably come back before or after Xmas if everything goes well. (12/2/2007)
Response: Just wanted to touch base with you. If after Christmas will work for you that would be great. It looks like I am going to CA on the 17th and it will take me a little while to work my way back over to you. Sounds like you know what I need to pick it up. Question: make sure if your going on base you must have your lic. ins. and the reg for your rig . sometimes they also want your papers for the trailer and all paper work for your load ...all depends on who you get at the gate... good luck... been there many times and learned the hard way (12/3/2007)
Response: huh...don't know if your e-mails was intended to me or someone else...I am not the one going to pick it up, I am the one trying to hire someone to go there to pick it up (lowest bid on $1,500 so far) What they want is proof of registration and insurance of the vehicle that you are driving in to pick the truck up, of course you also must have a photo ID....anyway, I cannot imagine someone driving without those needed documetns from the start. And yes, they will want a release form signed by me, a copy of paid invoice and a copy of approved EUC.... Thanks (12/3/2007)

Response: Hello, Yes, [phone number removed] Paper work was approved by DOD and I will send funds on monday and get the final paper work for a pick up. I will contact the site and see if is always someone there or what dates are available for pick up and see if we can hook up with your schedule. I see you do have a winch strong enough to pull the truck up and that is a plus, I have had lower bids but in case of the truck does not start they would need extra help($) and I am for surprises with blow up final bills. Now, if we woek this out I also have another truck in Lavinia TN, is a short 294 miles door to door, you may pick this up after the first one, we can go in details later on. Thanks, Ed (12/20/2007)
