Response: My stuff would defintely fit in your trailer/van. The biggest items I have are a couch which is about 8 feet long and a queen size bed - it sounds like your truck can easily accomodate. However, I was really hoping that my stuff would be there earlier in the week (like the 28th). Do you have any flexibility on this timing? If not, when do you expect to load on the 30th and unload? Also, are you a licenced mover? If not, I will require making a copy of your licence, and payment on delivery of goods (no offense, but I can't risk a stranger making off with all my stuff)! Response: Hello, thanks for getting back in touch with me. I am not a moving company. I used to hire people to haul my belongings back and forth, trying to save time for myself as well as money hopefully. I had good success once then the next time things were ruined, broken, etc. Therefore, seeing I don't mind driving now I drive out to pick up things or drop off things for myself. I use uship to help pay for my fuel. I only take one or two clients per trip as I don't want to ruin anyone's belonging just trying to make an extra dollar. You can take a look at my profile and feedback in here to see what people had to say about my service. You wouldn't pay me until drop off and at drop off I accept cash. I am interested in helping you with your trip cause it is one stop and directly back to MA where I live. I can't do this actually until around the 30th then have to you within two days. Response: I've read your feedback and would be comfortable using you as a mover. However, I start class on June 2, and I would really need the stuff delivered no later than the 31st in order to unpack before class starts. Its just really not flexible after that date, sorry. If you would be able to pick up in on the 28th and deliver the 31st, this might be feasible. Otherwise, I'll have to get a uhaul and do it myself. :( (5/16/2008)

Response: Ty, This is Becca in Indy who has the 1 bdrm to be picked up Memorial Day May 26 for dropoff in Cambridge May 28. Since you do not yet have feedback on Uship, I'd like to get your DOT# and insurance info before I accept the bid. I don't mean to be rude, but there are a lot of scams out there. Also, I just realized I have 2 guitars (in cases) and a small amp (like 12 x 12 x 12 inches), some framed posters that I forgot to put in the quote. Its also looking like I might have a few more boxes than I origianally expected. Let me know your policy on marginally exceeding the original estimate. I can assure you that the furniture pieces are definite and accurate in the quote provided on uship, and I'm still definitely just moving a 1bdrm+. 10am pickup on May 26 and 2-4pm dropoff on May 28 will be perfect.
