Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hello Shipper, we are a small, independent moving company based in Iowa City, IA. We are professional full service movers with great rates. A few questions: 1. Is there anything preventing semi access at both ends? ie tight turns overheads less than 13'6" or bridges w/ weight restrictions. 2. How many stairs would be involved at each end? Please reply if you are interested. Billy, Adamantine Spine Moving. (5/23/2007)
Response:
Hi! No Stairs at all. As far as I know there is no restriction anywhere regarding semis Both pickup and delievery locations are dock-high warehouses. Drop-off in Dubuque is three blocks south of the 11th st exit off US 61-151 (just north of US 20 bridge over the Mississippi) Cheers! PF (5/23/2007)
Question:
WE CAN PICK UP TOMORROW BUT WOULD NEED TO KNOW IN TIME TODAY TO GO THAT ROUTE, THANKS FORGOODNESSFRIEGHT (5/23/2007)
Response:
Hi, unfortunately, I have to give 48 hours notice to the pickup location. Not quite sure at this time when that will end up being. Still taking bids on this job. thanks! pf (5/23/2007)
Question:
WE WILL BE GOING DOWN THERE THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK ALSO (5/23/2007)
Response:
Where are you located? (5/23/2007)
Question:
Would it be possible to pick this up on Saturday, June 2 and deliver the same day? (5/23/2007)
Response:
I'm afraid not on Saturday... The pickup location is only open M-F 8:30-3:30 (if I recall correctly) (5/23/2007)

Response:
Tommy Next week is fine. Only thing is I won't be at the drop-off on Weds/Thursday. However, there's no problem delivering to the dock, anyway. I can leave your payment with the warehouse-manager. However, I still need to clear some stuff with the Pick-up location... Touch base on Monday, hopefully it will all be AOK. Cheers PF (5/25/2007)
Question:

Hi Tommy I may have another pickup for ya in Chicago as well at the same time. Assume you are capable of handling heavy printing press (in addition to the antique one) Will know more later today. Thanks! PF (5/25/2007)
Question:
PF THax , Empty In NC now , start to roll 900mile home (milw) in the morning,How soon can we get them on board, & can hold Up to ten tons. So how heavy? , Accept bid & we can talk. Thax (5/26/2007)
Response:
Hi Sounds great. I'm still negotiating for both deals. Need to get the deals cleared, hope to do it on Monday, if it's all clear, you could pick up then, deliver Mon night or Tues AM... Well under ten tons, only I'm not sure if they're palletted. The antique press is on a palette, but I don't know about the other two pieces Also the latest items, I'm not sure if they have a forklift.... I'll accept your bid, but obviously if I can't clear the deals by Monday, we'll either have to reschedule or cancel... with thanks Peter (5/26/2007)
