Question: Hello, can this vehicle be driven to it’s destination? Check my feedback under HunterServices. Having it driven is usually cheaper than shipping. I am a former firefighter, paramedic, 911 dispatcher and military veteran. I have driven everything from ambulances to fire trucks to recreational vehicles. Would like to bid on your business. Thanks! Rod (4/17/2008)

Response: yes this vehicle is driveable. Also in your bid to Oroville Washington, could you also include a bid to Kelowna British Columbia, Canada. I have a commercial broker that will do all the paper work but I want to know your price to bring it across the border to kelowna, thank you.
Stephen Laursen (4/17/2008)

Response: Thanks for the quick response, I have driven vehicles to the border - but have never been involved with taking one across it. I am ready and willing to do it though if the paperwork and all is complete. How many miles from the border to the destination in Canada? What do you estimate the gas mileage on the vehicle? What is your desired pick/delivery dates? Thanks again for considering me, Rod (4/17/2008)

Response: the mileage is roughly around 70 miles from the border, the moterhome on average is around 10-11 miles to the gallon, this weekend or early next week, and pick up by next weekend. let me know your price and availability.

Question: I live about 100 miles south of Springfield. If this m/h is licensed and insured, I could bring it to Oroville for $.90 per mile if I can tow my 96 Ford Ranger. I have towed it behind many other m/h that were either mine or ones I have delivered to the West coast for overseas shipments. Please let me know asap so I can work it into my schedule. Thanks Cloer (4/17/2008)

Response: I will consider it, I am not to excited about having a vehicle towed behind this RV. at .90 cents a mile with out the vehicle, I may be interested.
Thanks
Steve Laursen (4/17/2008)

Response: I can understand your concern about me pulling my truck behind the motorhome. I have pulled this truck over 50000 miles behind several gas and diesel motorhomes. I do not push a vehicle, yours or mine. The reason I wanted to pull my truck is to have a way home. There is no other way for me to get home from Oroville. I could leave Saturday morning if you change your mind. Also, just for your information, the truck doesn't way but 3000lbs. Considering that there would not be any thing else in the motorhome, it would probably weigh less than after you put your personal items and water in it. Thanks Cloer (4/17/2008)

Response: would you be willing to ship to Kelowna British Columbia, it is 70 miles north of oroville, and there is an airport right there.
thanks
Stephen (4/17/2008)

Response: Sorry but the only airport I could fly out of would be Seattle airport. Is there a bus service in Oroville that I could ride to Seattle. If so, I would leave my pickup at home. My wife said she would take me to Springfield. Please let me know what you think. Thanks Cloer (4/17/2008)

Question: Dear Shipper, I can ship for 1800. I carry 1 million in commercial liability let me know if i can help thanks Shad (4/17/2008)

Response: how much to bring it across the border to Kelowna British columbia, it is 70 miles from orville and there is an international airport right there.
thanks
Stephen (4/17/2008)

Response: Has it been exported out and imported in yet? Or will I just bring it to you and you do it later? Thanks Shad (4/17/2008)

Response: Shad, sorry for the late response, the vehicle has not been imported or exported, I have a commercial broker taking care of all the paper work, on your end it would involve exporting on the us side which is a stamp from them, takes 5-10 minutes, on the canadian side it is a matter of a signature and maybe a quick overview and you are on your way. I am just finding out here today when a pickup could be arranged, let me know if you are tsill interested in bringing it to Kelowna, thanks.
Steve (4/21/2008)

Question: Hi Steve, we can do 2100 to Kelowna. We have much motorhome experience and customs experience. We are Canadian. All the best. (4/21/2008)

Response: Hi
What do you carry for insurance? do you need me to get you a temporary plate? What about the gas? (4/22/2008)

Response: Hi Steve, as this is driveaway service, the RV needs to be insured and plated. Our clients most often get a dealer tag put on for the trip. If not, you can likely get a temp BC 10 day like we do in Ont? We would be glad to have your business and do a great job for you. We can bid 1900 with full tank to start if the dealer is filling it for you anyway? (4/22/2008)

Response: the RV is located at and auction, I will pay for the first tank of gas, they will not be filling it up though. I can arrange the insurance and a dealer plate to be shipped to the auction office, when could you pick this rv up? (4/22/2008)

Response: Great. Glad to work with ya if we can. How is the first week of May for you? (4/22/2008)

Response: I am in a rush and am flexible but would like to have it picked up later this week or early next week. Can this be done? (4/22/2008)

Response: Hi Steve, let me work on that. We are so jammed this week (month) but I will check into that and get back ok? Darren (4/22/2008)

Response: thanks Darren, I appreciate that, I want to do this deal with you. You quoted my Dad Terry Laursen last week on a unit from Florida, we will be needed more units shipped in the future and if this transaction goes smoothly we will be needed you again and hope to set a standard price up with you, thanks for your time hopefully you can make it work with this unit as I need to get it back here.
Thanks
Steve (4/22/2008)

Response: Steve, I will do my darndest. We would be very pleased to do a great job and earn more business with you folks! I will get back my good man. (4/22/2008)

Question: Hi again Steve, we are working on a plan to poss get her picked up on Friday. Bear with me... (4/22/2008)

Response: sounds good let me know so I can get a temporary plate and an insurance binder sent down there, thanks. would you guys be able to get the oil changed or deffinitly check the fluids, like I said this one was bought at an online auction so I have not seen it yet. (4/22/2008)

Response: Hi Steve, try as I can, first week of May is best we can do my good man. We are so booked thru April and I was attempting to find flexibility with another client. If you can make this work, I would be very happy to have your business this time and in the future. Business is business however if you can't wait. Thanks so much! BTW, the oil change would not be a problem and we ALWAYS check fluids at every fuel stop. You will see that in our feedback. (4/22/2008)

Response: is there any way you could pick it up next week and have it to me by the first weekend of may? (4/22/2008)

Response: Hey Steve, we can pickup next week and have to by end of first weekend? Does that work? (4/23/2008)

Steve (4/28/2008)

Question: Are you still in need of taking the motorhome to Washington. I just returned from delivering a 1ton dually to Texas, PULLING MY FORD RANGER. Had no problems, everything went well. I am back home and could be in Springfield tomorrow to pickup your motorhome if I could tow my pickup. It weighs only around three thousand pounds so if one knows how to drive a motorhome pulling a small "TOAD' there should be no problem. If interested, please respond asap so I can submit a formal bid. Gas prices are now up over $3.50 per gallon in parts of Texas. Thanks Cloer (4/24/2008)

Response: sorry I am not interested, thanks though. I have someone else booked in. (4/24/2008)
