Question: Hi there. If driving is an option maybe we can help each other out. I am in the process of moving to Seattle from New York and didn't want to leave certain things behind. If it would be okay to drive the car I'd like to place a bid. The biggest of the items would be a 27" TV, which of course would be dutifully wrapped and bagged to protect the vehicle. I'd plan to leave the east Oct. 30th and get to Spokane by Nov. 3. Would something like this be possible? (10/27/2006)

Response: hey there Marcus, that might be able to work. how would that work though because I've never shipped a car. Although I don't want to sound like a jerk how would I would know how to trust that you wouldn't steal it. I would be very interested if we could come up with a setup that could work and I could figure out that I could trust you. How much would you charge for this service? It seems as though it could be mutually beneficial. Spokane is quite a ways before Seattle, about 280 miles, how would we get your tv from spokane to seattle? all questions that could be figured out though. Grace and Peace, Asher (10/27/2006)

Question: Hey there. Understandable. What I can do is provide any kind of reference you'd like, including my brand new landlord in Seattle who's done reference checks already. If there's anything else you'd require, I'd do that as well. As far as getting things from Spokane, what I would do is get a one-way rental car from Spokane to Seattle, which would be how I'd reach WV from New York to start. (10/27/2006)

Question: Hello Asher -- I'd be very interested in driving your new Volvo (very nice choice) to Spokane for you, if it could be picked up the evening of the 6th or anytime on the 7th. Delivery would be about four days after pick up, weather permitting. You would have to insure the car and arrange with the dealer or myself to get temporary tags for it. I'm on the road with another delivery right now, but check the internet twice a day. My bid would be less than $1,000, but no where near the $550 you mentioned elsewhere in this listing.
