Questions for this shipment:
Question:
is there a fairing on top , can we remove the stack? my trailer is 3ft 2 inchs deck height. (1/16/2009)
Response:
Not sure it's my wifes fathers. I'm living upstate and saw the truck once I don't really remember. Also I just found out the truck needs a starter and doesn't run. (1/19/2009)
Question:
Can this be done on the weekend?? If it 10 ft high we could drive it right up on my landoll trailer(Tiltdeck) or use my detachable trailer with a 18" deck height. (1/16/2009)
Response:
I'm not really shure the exact height. I also found out over the weekend it does not run (needs starter.) (1/19/2009)
Response:
Well if it doesn't start it won't roll because you need to have air in the air tanks so you will have to pull it on with a winch which I can do but when we get to the destination after tilting the deck on my landoll it will have to be either tied off to a tree or held by a machine with a chain and then I could pull out with the trailer tilted. If this can be done on a weekend let me know and I'll submit a bid. Then after submitting a bid you can check out my profile see the three trailers I have available. Also to be done on the landoll The truck height has to be under 10'4" High Thanks Charlie... (1/20/2009)
Question:
find out the height, i have a winch on my trailer, no need to have it running, eze on eze off. (1/20/2009)
Response:
Great I will have someone go over and i'll get back to you asap. (1/20/2009)
Response:
let me know and i will place a bid . thanks rocky chase trans........ (1/20/2009)
Question:
Tie it to a tree that guy sounds like a real professional why wouldn't you just fill the tanks with air so the brakes would work. I would watch who you hire some of these guys sound dangerous. (1/21/2009)
Question:
Hi: I can assist at pickup location with releasing the brakes on your truck so it will easily be winched on my ramped flatbed trailer. I have an air line and quck attach hose if you have a connection on your air tank I can pump up your air tank and system from my truck and release the brakes. The height cannot exceed 10' 2". If this truck has any part higher than that it will have to be removed and secured on the trailer. Let me know if there are any issues. Thanks, Ed - Warrior Trucking, LLC (1/22/2009)
Response:
Hello, It's hard for me to find out anything about this truck. I am in upstate NY the truck is in NJ. The cab is around 9'6" with wind deflector about 12'9" the stack is 13'6". I am planning to go to the truck this weekend to see if I can remove the deflector and stack. I will let you know how I make out. The height of the truck seems to be an overall problem. (1/26/2009)
Response:
Hi: Well the stack and the wind deflector can be removed to get it down to around 10'. I won't be able to help you out until after I get back from several runs I will be doing in Feb. in NH, ME, VT, and back to NH. I will monitor your shipment as long as it is on here and when I get back I will give you a bid if you have not gotten anyone. Good Luck with your shipment! Ed - Warrior Trucking, LLC (1/28/2009)
Question:
Good Morning . I am interested in placing a bid to move your truck for you . I would need more information on the height of the truck . If you can take wind deflector and exhaust stack off and get the height lower I will be happy to place a bid . Our trailer is 38" high from ground to top of deck . Check our profile (truckinusa) and you will see we have everything needed to move this truck . Thanks John (1/27/2009)
Question:
I take it ,that you got the starter put in this truck (2/24/2009)
Response:
no truck still does not run. wind deflector was removed but they did not remove stack. (2/25/2009)
Question:
Hi: I am back in town and have placed a bid. I have a winch to pull your truck onto my 33' ramped flatbed. With the height down to 10' it should be OK. Good Luck with your shipment. Thanks, Ed - Warrior Trucking, LLC Mechanicville, NY 12118 (2/28/2009)
