Question:
8/6/2014
Hello, I will have a 35' trailer in MA the week of 8/25. Would this work for you? Thank you, cwalser83, CCW Marine Transport, Nashville, TNReport a Violation
Response: That timeframe works. Are you insured? Will the arch have to be pulled or just the radar dome from the arch? Lastly, how much? Thanks, Tom8/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hello, we are fully insured for cargo up to $200,000 and also carry $1,000,000 in GL. As far as the arch goes... Once we get loaded on the trailer we will check the height to make sure we stay under that 13'-6" mark. Typically we will removed the Radar Dome just to keep it from being damaged during transport. If it is a salt water pick-up loading by lift is required. That is a cost covered by yourself or the boat owner. We can splash the boat on delivery as long as it's fresh water at no additional cost. My price for transport, permits, and insurance would be $2,750. Shall we place a bid for you to accept and we start the process? Thank you, cwalser83, CCW Marine Transport, Nashville, TN8/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes, please bid. If the arch has to be pulled, who will do that? You? Thanks, Tom8/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hello Tom, I will place my bid for you. I tell all of my customers this.. I can take the arch down, I charge $300 to $400 depending on how complicated it is. But if the boat is currently at a marine with a shop. I recommend having them to do it and having the boat shrink wrapped in order to protect it from the elements while in transport. Thank you, cwalser83, CCW Marine Transport, Nashville, TN8/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: I've been told that the Boat shouldn't need the arch pulled, i think it's about 11'6" tall without the radar. If you want to pull the arch, if it needs it, I'm fine with having you do it because you're a little less than the marina. As far as wrapping it, it's unnecessary. The Boat needs a thorough cleaning and polishing from sitting in the elements. It is currently out of the water and the drives are removed. When it gets here it will be going into a gated yard.
