Question: Shipper: I’m interested in transporting your Wrangler. I could pick up 10-11 May and deliver within 1-2 days of pick up. In order to meet those dates I would need bid acceptance by 08 May. I would securely transport the jeep on a 25’ open gooseneck trailer. The trailer has full ramps and winch on-off capability should it be needed. My price would be $789 inclusive of insurance. My offer is based on pick up in Baton Rouge, LA 70808 and delivery to Hindsville, AR 72738, a trip of approximately 750 loaded miles. I’m a legal for hire common motor carrier with DOT authority and all required insurance coverage. Response: I am looking at 700 but am wanting it moved sooner as I will be out of town the week of the 15th. I have found out that it has no keys so it is not steerable. The location will a straight shot from loading area to trailer. I would like to have it delivered by this coming Saturday AM. Thanx Terry (5/7/2006)
Question: Terry….I can pick it up Tuesday or Wednesday and deliver within the following two days. You should have it no later than Friday and quite likely as early as Wednesday or Thursday. That would assume that the steering wheel is locked in a straight position so I can winch it directly on to the trailer. I would ask that you verify the steering before I leave home base.
