Question: Hello again. Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner either. I had to haul a Dodge Caravan today just after you replied. I just finally got back home and I will be able to transport your bike for you next Friday night. I will pickup anytime between now and next friday but I will be leaving to Colorado next Friday night and will arrive within 16 hours after pickup. Also, would you like the bike covered with tarps? I can do that also if you'd like. I really was hoping to hit the road to head to Colorado today but someone locally here needed a van hauled so if next weekend is fine then I am all for it. Also, about the price, what was the lowest bid that you recieved and I can most likely beat that too....within reason. :-) Just let me know if this all sounds good for you and get back with me. Response: Next Friday would be fine as long as you were certain of that delivery by a week from today. Tarps would be nice but if they flap in the wind they will chafe the bike. My best price is $650.00 from A-A Transport. They are not part of uShip.com. They use a big semi. The bike is on a pallet, tie dowms, and a cover w/similar time frame. I have not had any bids from uShip.com yet. Not even yours. Just to get it over with. I would pay you $500.00. You are supposed to bid not me. But I like your style and professionalism. Question: I haven't bid yet because I am trying to settle the deal first to make sure I will have a full laod coming to you first. Everything seems to be looking good so far. I will place a formal bid by Tuesday at the latest. Will $575 Cash on Delivery work for you? It will take me about 16 hours from Pickup to you and I will drive non-stop except for fuel and food since it is not really a long drive for me. I also totally understand about tarping it too. I usually use cotton fabric blankets to cover bikes then cover with a tarp so no scratches but either way is good for me. Just let me know if this all sounds good and when a pickup would be best. Like I said, I am planing on leaving Friday night and it will take me 16 hours from the time I leave Washington, Il. Thanks again. (4/15/2006)
Response: Hello Jeremy, $575.00 is a little bit high. I have not received any other bids yet though. Only A-A Transports firm price. A cover would be nice. If you can get your price down maybe $50.00 we have a deal. I would like it covered the way you describe it. What do you mean by cash? Money? or Bank Check?
