Additional Information: this tractor is ready for pick up for the person with the right price. I need this tractor asap. let me know of you are interested. THIS TRACTOR DOES RUN AND DRIVE but it DOES NOT HAVE ANY PLATES OR INSURANCE. I prefer pick up on 12/26 and drop off before 12/31. My ad states that this will be listed until January 13th but thats not true. i don't know how to go in and change the dates. So if you can accommodate me within the timeframe listed, THEN LETS DO BUSINESS!!! THANK YOU. Report a Violation

Response: if you have mc# and dot#.s like you say then you would have to have insurance in order to have them active,i have cdl,and temp tag- i can get a 10 day policy for $200- but if you have insureance just tell your compay to put non trucking coverage on it fot 3 days,i can do asap--- (12/25/2008)

Response: Just so that you know.... I am a professional driver. I have a CDL class A with Tanker, Double/Triple, and Haz-mat. I own a trucking company... I am not a transporter! I have insurance on my trucks, and plates on my trucks.... If you would like to save some money, someone like me... just willing to drive your truck to go and get one of mine is a fair option. I would have done this for the cost of fuel because I needed to get a truck out of Kansas City that a driver left because he quit. I'm sorry that I couldn't help both of us though... Response: Thanks for the bid request, but I have already booked my ticket to go out there on Monday. You wouldn't have been able to get the plates sent to me quick enough anyways. I wish that it could have worked out... it would have saved us both a lot of $$$! There are a lot of "TRANSPORTERS" on here that can do the job. Even though you're going to pay top $ for there insurance and there plates, if they have an accident then you'll get a brand new truck out of the deal! That seems like a better option, I would pay top dollar for that too! (12/27/2008)

Question: Be careful if these guys were ligitmate transporters they would have insurance with transport plates me and my wife have done this type of work for 15 years, and we are fairly new to uship, but not new to the business, I am on my way to vermont with 2 new school busses out of tulsa oklahoma, I have transport plates and insurance fully legal transporter unlike some,I have a tow vehicle to get us from place to place, as to keep travel expenses down, provided your truck will pass pretrip inpection and be safe to drive I can move this on my way back home to oklahoma, could probably pickup the 1st or 2nd and deliver 3rd or 4th , and if not then, maybe a later date, according to what you need, could do al inclusive door to door for $1000.00 if this will work let me know will submit formal bid thanks and god bless krtwlkr (12/27/2008)

Question: It really bothers me when I read things like the one above. Just because someone doesn't carry plates and insurance doesn't mean that they don't do business out here too.
