Question: Hello, Jazzyrunner05 here. Thanks for the bid request! Our trailer has dual 5200# axles, but the deck is only 80" wide. With our 6" drop axles, this will not fit in between them. Response: Ok, thanks, we are getting there. 1500 plus customers since 2004, not bad for a mom and pop outfit. Been through plenty of trucks, and trailers though. Best overall truck was a dually crew cab silverado with a 454, would pull anything, but terrible gas mileage. At 237k with already a rebuilt tranny the engine started losing oil, so we sold that off. Most efficient vehicle was a Toyota one ton dually with a 10' box on it, but we burned up two trannies, and an engine pulling our trailers. 14 to 18 mpg was nice, but when the last engine starting getting weak with 220k on the truck, we sold it off. Current rig is a 460 powered 4X4 extra cab F-250, seems ok pulling our big trailer, but we will see how long it lasts! Rome was not built in a day! John/Jeanine (6/26/2008)
