Question: I am going to columbus on aug 5-11 for the Mopar Nationals. i can easily swing over and pick up your car and since i am based out of springfield your desitination is a short distance from my home. i can pick up aug 11th and deliver within 24hrs. if this is a timeframe that works for you i will place a bid. let me know if you have any questions. what price range where you trying to stay around? i try to be reasonable and bid accordingly based on mileage and diesel prices. thanks, Mike CumminsTransporting. Response: This might work... I am actually doing this for my brother, thats his car. i will have to talk to him about that. As for a price so far i have had offers for less than it would cost me in gas to trailer it myself. because big companies with 12 car trailers on their way by are willing to pick them up and deliver for a good deal... please make offer... Question: I dont know if you have ever dealt with the BIG car haulers before but you are exactly right..they dont charge much. But once you give them your deposit or after they pick up your car and you start wondering why your car is between 3 days to 3 weeks late you will realize their excuses are just as cheap as their rates...IF you can get ahold of them. I deal with customers all the time telling me this and they say they will never go with the BIG companies again and said they would rather pay a little more and get it on time and a lot quicker... Did you also realize that if they damage your car the only way they will pay for repairs is by taking them to court and they got BIG lawyers that they keep on their payroll to make sure they dont have to pay claims...
