Questions for this shipment:

Question: Is pickup and drop off dates flexible? if so i might be able to pick it up tuesday then deliver around the 4th thanks Leroy (4/24/2008)
Response: Hi Leroy, Pick up on Tuesday, April 29th is fine but the delivery date may be too soon. Can it be delivered at a later date....say May 8th or 10th? (4/24/2008)
Response: I might be able to make it work let me figure it out and get back to you (4/24/2008)
Response: Thank you very much. I will await your response. (4/24/2008)
Response: I could do it for 445 total will that work i will place my bid but need to know by 2pm tomorrow (4/25/2008)
Response: I assume we're talking this weekend pick up and delivery on or around May 3rd? (4/25/2008)
Question: I could pick up around 4/27-4/28 and deliver in 2-3 days. I am fully DOT legal and have insurance. Please let me know if this meets your needs. Thank You (4/24/2008)
Response: Pick up on 4/27 or 4/28 is fine but the delivery might be a bit too soon. Is it possible to have it delivered on or around May 8th or 10th? (4/24/2008)
Response: I'm not sure if I could do that. I am coming to Oregon and maybe Washington then to Bend for a week. I don't think I could wait till then and I was hoping to make a circle. If I i'm in Bend then it's back out of my way because i'm headed back to California. Right now I don't think I could do this but, I will let you know as soon as possible if I can. Just in case this is possible what is your target? (4/24/2008)
Response: Ideally, next Wed., Thur., Fri., Sat. or Sunday for pick up and delivered around the 8th or 10th (later is fine for delivery) would be ideal. I could wait until May 5th or 6th for pick up but this is not prefered. Thanks for getting back to me and let me know on the above. (4/24/2008)
Response: I would like to do this shippment for you and I would pick up on 4/28 or 4/29 whichever works best for you. The latest I could deliver is 5/2. I could do this for $425.00. Please let me know if this will meet your needs or your not having it done unless dropped off later. Thank You (4/25/2008)
Question: I go to Blain 2x a month and will be in Southern California this weekend 26th/27th for P/U Then to Blain on May 3rd and then again 2 weeks later on the 17th. I transport alot of bikes, mostly BMWs, check my feedbacks. Let me know if these dates might work. Thanks for the request, I hope I can help. (4/24/2008)
Question: If those dates work,I can match your book it now price. Thanks for the request, Dave (4/24/2008)
Response: Hi Dave, Thank you for the message. Here is my situation. I need my bike shipped to Oroville, Washington, or thereabouts (I am Canadian and live 15 min. north of Oroville in B.C.). I can have to ready to ship by April 29th through May 3rd. as that is when I will start heading north in my motorhome BUT I don't need it delivered until May 8th through the 17th (or therabouts). Will this work for you? Thanks Dave. (4/25/2008)
Response: Pick up would have to be this weekend, Or wait 2 weeks for my regular Southern California run. Let me know.. (4/25/2008)
Response: Dave, If you picked it up this weekend can you hold off on the delivery until May 8th, 9th or 10th? If not, when would it be delivered assuming you picked it up this weekend. Please advise. (4/25/2008)
Response: Your delivery date would be the 3rd which is too soon, or 2 weeks later on 17th. I go one weekend in S Cal the next weekend Seattle and back and forth on a regular basis. I am that busy. (4/25/2008)
Response: let me check my drop off person in Oroville and get back to you tomorrow. (4/25/2008)
Response: In 2 weeks I will transport around 10 bikes usually to Blain, is that a possibility? (4/25/2008)
Response: Wanatchee would be better. I have a few other shippers whom I'm talking to about all the way to Oroville. I assume it's a lot mors hassle and more money to get the bike into Canada yes? (4/25/2008)
Response: I will wait to see what other shipers come up with. I hope you check their feedbacks. (4/25/2008)
Question: I will pick this up on my trip to San Diego in about a week.Drop at your convenience in Oroville.Garaged during the wait time.Full coverage commercial insurance,DOT compliant.Feedback and pics speak for themselves.$445 for point to point fully insured LEGAL transport.I will bid for acceptance if you desire.Thank you. (4/25/2008)
Response: Hi Rob, Picking up the bike next week will work but it would need to be Friday or Saturday, May 2nd or 3rd at the latest. I could meet you in Oroville, Washington, sometime on (ideally) May 15, 16, 17 or a few days later....if that's better for you. Can this work? Casey (4/25/2008)
Response: I see by another transporters comment about "cheap" that they are upset with the fact that I have a reasonable rate! Oh well.Yes that would work for me.If I can pick up the cycle sooner, would that work? (4/25/2008)
Response: Hi Rob, I have checked out your reviews and you have a very strong track record. You are eager and flexible to put this deal together which means a lot to me. I am happy to have the bike picked up anytime after today. My situation is this, I will head north in my motorhome and hope to be back in Canada (30 minutes north of Oroville, Wash.) by around the 14th or 15th of May. I could meet you in Oroville and pick up the bike then but I am flexible on this. If possible, drop off in Oroville no earlier than the 13th and as late as the 17th would be ideal. Please advise. Casey (4/25/2008)
Response: We could certainly arrange that as I travel to Oroville regularly. Locking forward to hearing from you. (4/25/2008)
Question: 1800 Mile trip for $ 400.00 I can't match that. I need to charge a minium of $550.00. Cheap doesnt always mean good/safe/secure, especially when fuel is so expensive, and insurance is also. let mme know if that works, been to Oroville a hundred times for VBC folks. READ my profile/FEedbacks thanks I will do it right way (4/25/2008)
Response: Sorry, you message fell between the cracks. I too hate it when I take the time to respond to someone's message and they don't respond back...my apologies. Sorry to say I can't afford your fee. Cheers, C.B. (4/26/2008)
Response: Sir what are you wanting to spend? (4/26/2008)
Response: There are two parts to my needs: 1) pick up here in Palm Desert / Palm Springs area between April 27th and May 4th (latest). Delivery to Oroville sometime between May 15 through 20th (a bit later is fine also but not sooner than the 15th.) 2) the most I want to spend is $450.00 in total. I will look forward to your response. C.B. (4/26/2008)
Response: I can meet ALL your dates, however I am a professional motorcycle carrier with a fully enclosed trailer to protect your Prize Possession, and I can not move a motorcycle 1700 miles for $450.00 I could do it for $550.00. Your bike is fully insured. read my profiles and feedbacks, you will see how a real motorcycle carrier handles bikes (4/27/2008)
Response: I have read your reviews and they are very strong. There is another option I can present that may be a better solution. As before, you pick up my bike in the Palm Desert / Palm Springs area anytime from today onward (up to Sunday, May 3rd at the latest). You deliver my bike to my house in Oliver, B.C. (about 30 min. north of Oroville, WA,) whenever it will fit for you....could be in five days....could be in ten days. You can leave it in the carport and I will not have to be there. This gives you a lot more flexibility on delivery dates. For this I would pay you the fee you need. Please advise. (4/27/2008)
Response: That would be fine, but I charge $200 to cross border, because it takes so long. (4/27/2008)
Response: Thank you for the response. I wasn't sure if crossing the border would cost more. Given that extra cost, lets scrap the idea of dropping off at my home. I will consider your fee and the original deal we talked about (drop off in Oroville). Can you give me a ball park date as to when you could pick up the bike this week? (earlier the better as long as the drop off in Oroville is around the 15th, 16, 17th etc.) Please advise. (4/27/2008)
Response: I most likely can drop off on or around May10-12, possibly earlier. let me know thanks (4/27/2008)
Response: Sorry, I think I gave you the wrong impression. I need the bike picked up this week...the earlier the better (no later than this coming weekend). The drop off in Oroville needs to be May 15th, 16th , 17th or even a few days later. Will this work? (4/27/2008)
Response: I will pickup bike by May2, will deliver somewhere on or around May11-14th.. No problem on pickup bike this week. We'll get it to Oroville. want me to bid, then I can call you after you accept it (4/27/2008)
Response: Thank you, I know I am being a bit difficult but delivery on May 11th through 14th will be too early for me to be there. I do not have any place or person who will take delivery for me so I will have to be there. It will be difficult for me to be up in Oroville until the 15th of May onward. Can you garantee a delivery on May 15th or later (not earlier)? (4/27/2008)
Response: May15-16 is fine.. We'll be there. let's do it ! (4/27/2008)
Response: I need until the end of the day to commit. I have a friend who may be buying my bike down here in CA. I don't want to commit to you and then cancel the next day. Please give me until 9:00 PM this evening to commit OR I will accept now as long as you don't get P.O'd at me for cancelling a few days prior to pick up. (4/27/2008)
Question: WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY: ANSWER EMAILS: Look, Service Providers read a thread, see emails are not answered on a regular bases, and they become concerned that shipper isnt serious. (4/26/2008)
Question: bids in, I'm going away from computer for a few hours. Accept bid and I'll call you or visaversa. cheers (4/27/2008)
Response: Last question, we have established that you will deliver the bike in Oroville on the 15th of May or anytime within a week therafter. When this week can you pick up the bike in Palm Desert? Please advise. Casey (4/27/2008)
Response: Most likely May2. that's a guess. give or take a day. I'm in route now to Ca. (4/28/2008)
Question: Hello there once again. I have bid for your consideration but I see I am competing with "REAL" motorcycle transporters as they put it.I have won many bids that "REAL,PROFESSIONAL M.C.TRANSPORTERS" screwed up because they overbooked, or simply couldn't hack it. I am the exclusive transporter for three different bike shops in the Northwest, including Ducati,Triumph, and Aprilla. I am sorry for stooping to the level of the other transporters and their whining and insults, but I am sick of it. This is a BID board.I.E. there are going to be cheaper bids on here than some are willing to compete with, but if you don't want to have to work for to get the business, get off USHIP. Shipper, (4/27/2008)
Response: Hi Rob, Thank you for your message. I do understand what you are saying about the competative nature of the business. I will decide on your bid versus the other bids I have within 24 hrs or less. You have always been up front with me and you have shown a great deal of flexibility. The only reason I cannot accept your bid immediately is there is now a slim chance that a friend of mine will purchase the bike here in Palm Desert. I will know where he is at by late this evening and, based on his decision, I will advise you and/or accept your bid. Thanks. (4/27/2008)
Response: No problem.....I am in no hurry. Rob (4/27/2008)
