Response: The BMW can be picked up as early as tomorrow, is is a regular 4 door auto that runs on gas just fine. no problems or mods. But I do not want it driven, I want it tranported off the ground. no personal property etc, just a good old regular transport for a dealership who will work with driver on pick up. thanks, matt (4/13/2009)

Your car is hardly new (over 10 years old) and I am sure any road salt has long since washed off roads during the spring rains!
I use Q&A to get info and a feel for how it would be working with a shipper! I try to avoid driving for crabby petty people!

Question: Hello, before I put in the bid I wanted to find out your flexibility on the dates for pickup and delivery. I monitor all the truck routes over this area, so I can always identify who has what truck space and even how much their other loads are paying. That means I can hopefully get a driver to take your load as their last spot to be able to leave full, at the lowest price. It does take a bit of flexibility on your end (but still a very reasonable time frame for delivery), or we can identify a price that would move the car more quickly. Let me know what you think. Response: Car is ready today to ship! 500 is what i think is fair, bids are getting closer to that, the closer you are to my set price the better your chance to get the shipment.
As I said, we are flexible, you can pick the sedan up as early as tomorrow, the week end or next week.

That is fine, however the whole key is cost John, normally transports want more for enclosed trailers, i really do not want to pay more that the $550. than I have stated in my request for bids.
