Question: thanks, David for your bid request. The only way we can do this would be driveaway - I think the truck is too wide and too heavy for the trailer we are currently using. If you would like to consider driveaway (I know it's not your preference) let us know. We've done quite a few, Frank is very familiar with Ford vehicles, and it's a very economical way to transport. Question: Thank you for the bid request, we can offer you door to door service on our new wedge trailer for $750.00. We just hauled a similiar truck to Texas. We won't be able p/u until next Monday or Tuesday. My drivers son graduates from Marine boot camp on the 16th. He asked for the weekend off for his son. Response: Chad, As long as you are insured....we can make this work.....just so that you are aware again....the truck has dual wheels and a small flat bed which has pressure washing equipment on it and a ladder rack which makes it 85 inches tall....is your new trailer open.....don't want anything missing.... Response: Good morning shipper, I have to be honest here; I missed read your origin as Riverside CA. I'm not really sure how I did that, only thing I can think of is I've been dealing with shipments in Riverside all week. My two trucks are in California and not going to be out your way anytime soon. For your information I am fully insured with $1000000.00 Liability and $100K cargo, I have my DOT and ICC/MC numbers in place and I am DOT compliant. This comes at high cost so I wouldn't be able to do a run like this for anything less than $2000.00. Again I am very sorry for the confusion. Regards Chad (10/14/2009)
Question: Shipper thanks for the bid request.i must say, after reading your other bids. i dont think i can come close to what you have listed its rough 2300 miles.your bids are for less than 1/4 of the cost to move this buy a DOT carrier. but keep this in mind.. know the old saying.
