Hello you have your boat listed as transport by open transport or flatbed we dont have Inadequate equipment.we haul super loads with our equipment.we can haul up to 68ft in length.thank you anyway Report a Violation
Response: I expect open transport to be a lowboy able to haul a 12 foot load without dismantling vessel. If you have this type of equipment I suggest you state so or post photos showing loads on this type of trailer. Your photos of small boats on boat trailers were not at all assuring....nor was a small airplane!4/13/2014Report a Violation
Response: that's why we have a low boy listed in our equipment along with our flatbed also our semi.the picture of the plane is our personal craft that we use on occasion to ship international small shipments such as boxes small household items. But thanks for the reply and best of luck with your shipping.if by chance you dont get a carrier send us a request and we will rebid if it's all good with you.also we have only had to take apart one radar arch since we been hauling.we try not to add more work to the job than what it already is.it's hard enough loading these vessels thanks again kay12264/13/2014Report a Violation

Hi Captain, Uship does not qualify movers and recommends for you to check out my credentials as your prospective transporter and here is how. Click on my username (flagship1st) and review my 100% five star feedback left by other shippers like you. Notice the spot provided by Uship for BOTH a “DOT” and “MC” number of which we have that are required to transport this boat legally. While there look for the seal of a Safer Watch verified transporter of which we have, this seal means I’ve been checked out and verified by an independent third party for you. I’m legal, insured as well as in compliance with the FMCSA. (click seal & explains benefits) I would like to assist you with this shipment. What date will the boat be ready and how will it be loaded / unloaded? $5900. Look forward to your response. Flagship Yachts, Enfield NC Report a Violation
Response: Boat will be ready for shipment by May 5 at boatyard in Hampton, VA. Delivery is to another boatyard in Duluth, Minnesota. Both yards have boatlifts (Travelift) which use canvas slings to lift vessel for loading onto/from a cradled lowboy trailer. I have quotes at $4500 and $5500. I am leaning toward the higher quote from a highly qualified and experienced boat transporter.4/14/2014Report a Violation
Response: I cant do 5500 here. On this site Im at 5900 would you like me to submit a bid. Be sure to look at my profile by hitting the flagship1st in blue. Im a legal transporter with 100% feedback. I can make your time if scheduled now. Flagship Yachts, Enfield NC4/14/2014Not in Violation
Question:

$5500. Interested?Report a Violation
Response: That is consistent with other quotes that I have received. Can you make any assurances as to pick up in Hampton Virginia the week of May 5? Followed by delivery in Duluth by end of that week?4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Your listing says "after" May 5th w/ delivery before May 31st. We are booked solid until the second week of May.4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: So what type of gear would you intend to use for transport. Would this be semi and lowboy trailer with cradle? Or would you use your own triple axle trailer pulled by one-ton dually as shown is some of the pics? Trailer and dually would give us some flexibility as to where you could pick up vessel which is actually in Virginia Beach, VA. There is a nearby boatyard with lift that is less accessible by semi.4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Boat is too heavy for a dually. We would use the Freightliner and a 21k lb tri-axle trailer.4/17/2014Report a Violation

Shipper do you currently own this boat or you just considering a purchase? Pls advise.Report a Violation
Response: I purchased vessel on April 1, 2014 and need to move to home port.4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Are your specs accurate?4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Boat is considered a 31 foot boat. It has bow pulpit and swim platform that extend that dimension, but at the waterline, I think that's a very close number. Beam is definitely 12'. Height is 12 feet or less. I will determine if I need to remove gear from top of hardtop to meet that dimension. Technical factory weight of the vessel was exactly 13,800 pounds dry...I checked for specific vessel weight with manufacturer. When I toured factory I found out they weigh each boat before it leaves the plant. Then a hardtop was added and various gear loaded on board. I'm estimating 16,000 lbs and I need to run fuel down a bit during my prep time to get to that weight. Tanks are currently about 1/2. There is no way this boat is over 21,000 pounds even with all gear on board.4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: There is a big difference in 16k lbs & 21k lbs. Like several thousand dollars. You can't have that much of a difference and get an accurate bid. You need to get as close to the "real number" as possible.4/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: I don't understand your last question/comment. My best guess of the weight is 16k. My statement was that I know for sure it would be less than the trailer capacity of 21k. For real accuracy I would have to weigh the boat and I'm not going to sling this thing just to give you a not very meaningful #. Also don't understand your comment about significant change in cost if weight was higher than 16k. If the height and width permits are going to be uniform and the weight is below the max for your gear, then the cost should be pretty uniform. Gear and driver costs are the same, fuel consumption would be essentially the same and I can't see were you are suggesting a couple thousand pounds is a reason for a several thousand dollar upcharge. NOT A CREDIBLE COMMENT OR PROPOSAL. Again, best estimate of weight is 16k, but I don't see what difference added weight would make in costs to you or to me. I don't understand your last question/comment. My best guess of the weight is 16k. My stat4/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: What I am trying to explain is if you say the boat is 16k lbs and its 19k lbs any transporter is going to charge for the extra weight, no matter how much their trailer will hold. Transport cost are weight and distance. It cost more to haul a 19k lb boat vs a 16k lb boat.4/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: Very good...so what is your fee quote and terms for a 16k boat loaded at Capps Marine in Virginia Beach, VA or at Bluewater Yacht in Hampton, VA for delivery to Duluth, MN. Also, provide an estimate of when in May this can be done. Earlier the better. You had earlier stated $5500 and then started asking questions.4/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: I would be at $5500. Pickup about May14th, deli very within 5 days of pickup. Please review the "terms & conditions" section of our profile. Also read our excellent customer feedback.4/18/2014Report a Violation
Question:
4/20/2014
Please take a minute to look over my PROFILE/REVIEWS and let me know if you have any questions. I could pick up around May 10th and deliver within 4 days for $5500. Let me know if I should place the bid.Report a Violation
Response: I have looked at your profile and that is positive. I looked at Terms and Conditions and they were uninformative. What are financial terms? Deposit? Form of payment? COD? Cashiers Checks? Personal check? Credit Card? I closed on boat April 1 and the boat is on sellers lift in Virginia Beach, VA. It can be driven to Hampton, VA (brokers boatyard) for pickup or can be picked up in Virginia Beach at Capps Marine which is less than mile from seller's house in same inlet (easy to get there and not weather dependent). Would Capps Marine pickup change your quote? How do you coordinate date and time of pickup. I need to reserve space at dock and lift operator.4/20/2014Report a Violation
Response: I would require cash or cashiers check at delivery. If we come to an agreement,we will be able to get in direct contact with each other and set up the final pick up details. I would prefer to pick up in Hampton VA. 4/20/2014Report a Violation
Response: OK...I will accept or reject tomorrow. Have two other close bids to compare. May 10 is Saturday and marina will not lift and load on weekends. May 12?4/20/2014Report a Violation

Response: Curt, Thank you, I will need to do that. Gary Curt, I will likely want to take your proposal, but need to make sure I'm not committed to another shipper who is not firm on pickup dates. I will delist by tomorrow mid-morning. Thanks and hope to do job with you. You have good profile and feedback Curt, I have relisted and would want to receive proposal from you.4/20/2014Report a Violation
