Question: Hello, would you be interested in having this vehicle driven for delivery? If it is roadworthy, insured, and has a license plate or temporary tag, I could drive it for you for $350 all-inclusive. Expected transit time is 2 days. Presently I can schedule the pickup within about 10 days. Please let me know if you have any questions and whether I should submit a bid. Thanks, Eric (10/9/2008)

Response: I am not sure if it is roadworthy, the guy that was selling the vehicle through the auction said it was the previous owners daily driver. It is a 1996 with 125k miles so it seems it would be ok to drive. I can call and get the insurance added today and as for a temp tag I am not sure how that works. The vehicle is at the Manheim Fredricksburg, VA location and needs to be driven to Auburn, GA. PLease let me know what you think.
Thanks,

Response: Hello Anthony, thank you for the reply. By uShip rules I can't call you until after a bid is accepted. The car sounds OK to drive. You could get a Georgia temp tag or plate and send it to me by FedEx; that's probably the easiest solution. Thanks, Eric (10/9/2008)

Response: I can get a Temp tag from GA, let me check with one of my other guys and see if we have any temp tags left in our office and I will e-mail you back. (10/9/2008)

Response: Thanks, I will wait to hear from you. (10/9/2008)

Response: I dont know how to get a dealer drive out tag as we do not have anymore from the state of GA. I can get the insurance today no problem is that dealer tag going to be a problem? (10/9/2008)

Response: I don't have a transporter tag, so for me to drive it you would need to provide some kind of plate or tag. Sorry about the inconvenience. Thanks, Eric (10/9/2008)

Response: alright, I have the tag situation worked out, I will also get insurance today as well. I am new to this so I am not sure how this works. If you pick it up and drive it down here how I am protected that the vehicle will not end up in Mexico?? Also will the aution let you just come in and p/u the vehicle?? How long will it take you to get it here?
The wire will be sent to the auction tomorrow and available for p/u after they receive the funds hopefully tomorrow.
After answering all that, give me a place to fedex the tag and we can start the process. Again, I am not sure how this works for you to get paid and all of that???

Response: Hello, thank you for the reply. You could send the tag to Eric Hoyle "Hold at Station" at FedEx Kinkos, [address removed], Fredericksburg, VA 22407. They check my ID when I come to pick it up. I require a written delivery contract that serves as my authorization for pickup and your security in case of problems like me driving to Mexico (which will not happen). Perhaps you could get some peace of mind from checking my uShip feedback. Expected transit time is 1 to 2 days. As for payment, uShip and myself collect deposits, and the balance is due on delivery. See my bid for more detail. Thanks, Eric (10/9/2008)
