Response: I can not carry both at the same time unless you think that all your household goods would fit in the 26ft box truck then I could place the car in the enclosed trailer. My thoughts were to take the car first then come back the following week to retrieve the household goods to ensure adequate room. (10/4/2009)

Question: Thanks for your bid request, however, I like many other carriers only use open trailers, however, as a car builder myself (please see profile) I have had more damage in enclosed trailers due to a strap breaking or, on our highways today, hitting a bad bump on a bridge approach or in one of the many freeway construction projects and have a car rub up against the inside wall & do damage. Contrairy to popular belief, more damage takes place in an enclosed trailer that in open trailers, however, in style trailers there is always potential for minor damage, therefore the need for insurance with your carrier. I would be happy to give you a bid on an open trailer but I have since sold all but my single enclosed trailer.
