Response: "will this help you out if i can do an all inclusive for you and you pick up from chwk" mo22, I suppose it would, although my understanding was that I had to have the bike stay in the States for 72 hours, while the US customs takes 3 days to do it's paper work, and various 'searches' on the bike, before releasing it. So I was quite prepared to have it held in Sumas for 3 days, and just go get it myself, being so close. I noticed that each of the prices you give me keep going up. Does this mean that you would be including the $206 RIV fee? They (Canada), will want their Gst & Pst as well. Jim (12/16/2007)
Response: wht r thry waiting on all they require is payment original title copy of sales contract and who is transporting i do this full time i own my trucking business and import all my equipment i was thking of loading my truck next week and crossing into manitoba mid to late week and being home here in chwk next weekend but i would definitely need a copy of the title to submit to UScustoms on your behalf and then an authorization to act as your agent for the importation but all tht requires is a fax or email signed stating wht it is i am importing on your behalf pretty simple really im thkin it would cost you 1000-1250 let me know wht you thk thks mo (12/13/2007)
Question: hey jim US customs just has to have the paperwork at least 72 hours prior to crossing at whichever crossing you export from you can thn enter into canada from there no i am not including the RIV fee or any of the asstd taxes tht is all your responsibility and is exclusive from the bid i submit bids chg with loads and timelines and adjusted scheduling tht is why we put an expiry timeline if you would like me to re submit a bid i will but i will need to check my scheduling of the loads i already have now over the weekend and would need to know quite quickly as time is running tight now to have everyone's load here in time for xmas thks mo (12/16/2007)

Question: also you will only be paying the GST at time of import and the Form 1 is filled out and then you pay RIV online and fax your Form 1 to them and they will fax you a copy of the Form 2 after they recieve Recall clearance letter from you stating no recalls for your bike you will pay the Pst when you go and register into BC at the ICBC agent (12/16/2007)
Question: hi jim im now coming most of the way with an enclosed trlr so i can transport your bike to either the border or across it will only be exposed to the elements between seattle and here ill do it for 1000.00 either way before the border or across but id i bring it across you will have to pick up from my place in chwk or meet on canadian side for delivery i will need an swer asap as my truck is prepping to leave the east today thks mo (12/17/2007)
