Question: What are you going to do when some TSP "books it now" and you don't win. It may cost you a few bucks. (7/17/2007)

Response: i don't know,this is new to me. (7/17/2007)

Response: You may want to consider changing it from "book it now" until you've won. Right now if a qualified TSP executes the "book it now" function.....you have a contract to move a car you may not own. It is an automated feature and the TSP's bid will be automatically accepted. uShip will collect the deposit from you equivalent to their fee. If you don't win you'll end up trying to do a cancellation which will require the TSP's concurrence. I would suggest you change this immediately even if you have to cancel and relist. It may help you to avoid some real headaches and hard feelings with some TSP. It is certainly okay to list it to get quotes and ideas about the cost...but not as a "book it now". Good luck with the auction and the transport "after" you win. (7/17/2007)

Response: i have won the bid,i'am looking for a hauler. (7/17/2007)

Response: Congratulations! When do you think you'll get all the paperwork completed and be ready for pick up? I have a partial load from the St. Louis area to Brunswick that will be loading about the 31st of July. It will be an open 2-3 car hauler. The time frame may be a little longer than you want to wait, but if it would be acceptable I would like to make an offer. My bids always include coverage by my commercial cargo insurance, uShip fees, and all other transport related charges. If you're interested please review my profile and obtain my US DOT and MC numbers. You can verify my insurance and DOT authority at the government web site also contained my profile information. Just go to the web page, input the numbers and then request an electronic "insurance and license" report. Check out all the pages of the report and it will give you information about my company's credentials. It only takes a minute or so. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks/Don @ SEMO Motor Transport Service (7/17/2007)

Response: yes i'am interested can you pick up on 27 or 30 july 07. the 30 is my last day. thank (7/17/2007)

Response: That's a tough one...I'll be leaving Tacoma, WA early on the 26th so the 27th wouldn't work for me. I might have a shot getting it on the 30th but I sure couldn't promise to get there in time. The earliest I could guarantee pick up would be 31st or 1st. I'm sorry I can't meet your dates. You should get some more bids so maybe someone can get it on those days for you. I just won't commit and then maybe have to let you down. If it doesn't work out with someone else on those days perhaps we can work something out for alternate dates. I think you'll get some attractive offers so just hang in there for a few days and see what kinds of offers you get. I'll be around if nothing works for your preferred dates. I do sincerely wish you the best with your shipment and I hope you'll make sure the carrier is qualified and insured. (7/17/2007)

Response: i'am going to call and see if i can change my date for pick up.( to know later than 1 aug 07 ) (7/18/2007)

Response: Thank you for the information. Please keep me posted and I'll try to work something out with you. // Don (7/18/2007)

Response: Don i call and got until the 1st of aug to pick up,can we work with this? (7/19/2007)

Response: I think so....my schedule is changing. The WA trip is slipping by several days (and may be canceled) because the documentation between the shipper and buyer has problems completd. I may be able to run up and load your Caprice early next week. I can store it in my compound (no charge) until I leave for the GA/FL trip. It would still be after August 2nd before I would start that trip so delivery wouldn't be until about the 6th or 7th of August. If that is acceptable let me know. I'll try to work it out and I'll get back to you with something definite before Saturday. BTW...on the Lincoln you might want to check with Tony at DURATRANS for a bid. He's very reliable and reasonable and runs the east coast (NY:FL) several times a month. Thanks again // Don (7/19/2007)

Response: Thats find, lets pick it up and you can drop it off later. you will have to give me a pick up date so I will able to let them know. (7/19/2007)

Response: I'll get back to you with something definite for dates as soon as I can. Pick up could be as early as Monday or Tuesday but I'll coordinate with you and the seller to make it convenient. Was this from an individual or dealer? Some times that makes a difference as to when it can be picked up. We'll work it out and I'll get back to you shortly. I don't mean to be evasive, but I have another shipment under contract and they're waffling around on me. If they don't give me something concrete by Friday afternoon I'll just put them on the back burner for a while. Thanks for working with me on this. // Don (7/19/2007)

Response: this car is being house by the government they are open from 9-5 mon-fri. (7/19/2007)

Response: What kind of paper work is needed to pick it up? I'm targeting Monday or Tuesday to grab it and bring it back to my compound. Delivery will be as I said before. My bid will be $600 plus the uShip fees if that is acceptable. The total should be about $675. Is that going to be okay? Thanks // Don (7/20/2007)

Response: you need to go ahead and bid. (7/20/2007)

Response: I have made the formal bid. The payment break down is as follows: Total Bid: $675.92 Pre-paid Deposit $75.92 (uShip collects this amount from you and credits to my uShip account, offsetting my match fee) Balance due to me: $600.00 (you pay me this amount directly upon delivery, cash or certified funds payable to SEMO Motor Transport Service). Please ask any questions you may have before accepting the bid. Additionally, please note there are certain exceptions contained in my cargo insurance. My web site has a copy of the "contract terms and conditions" that will be applicable to this shipment and explain insurance coverage. Note the bid expiration...it is tomorrow at 12:00 noon CDT. Thanks and I look forward to providing the service // Don @ SEMO Motor Transport Service (7/20/2007)
