He JUST moved down there to go to school a couple of weeks ago and was in an accident that totaled the crappy truck he had. So he may want to ship his car down He is on a VERY limited budget, he hasn't even had time to find a job yet, but this may be cheaper than finding another cheap car down there. My husband has just changed his truck over from a small flatbed to a 5th wheel 4-car carrier, and we are adjusting our insurance coverage accordingly. My pc at home isn't working so I'm at my boyfriends. The details sound awesome. I had my son checking on here also from his pc so any replies you send I will probably have to call him to get. We could meet in Leroy, which is the closest thruway exit to us. Sounds like you guys must be in upstate NY also. How long would it take to get the car to Mooresville? My son doesn't have any transportation down there now but if he needs to meet you somewhere he may be able to take a cab. He is right near 77 and I think it's 150, in the very busy area, if your husband is familiar with the area. I think you mentioned 300 deposit. My son was wondering also on the time of day because he has school afternoon/evening. If it got down there Sat/Sun that would be perfect but I'm not sure of your schedule. Question: Silly me! I forgot to mention the delivery time...Ron should easily be there by Sat. He can pick up the vehicle on Saturday evening or Sunday, as his other pick ups are between here and Buffalo. I am really happy that this is working out for both of us! And yes, we do ask for $300 at pick up and the balance at delivery, simply due to fuel and tolls involved. One quick question...is the car registered and has tags? If so, and the delivery point is too busy or not easily accessible for my husbands big truck, I am sure he can drive the car some place easier for your son.
