Question: If I was you I would of taken his bid, with the price of DIESEL FUEL going up every day and I just came up from Miami the cheapest price I saw was $3.399 per gallon. I just brought up a BMW and it paid $800.00. If the price goes up for us it will for you. Yor price is $.30 a mile which would not even cover my cost to run the truck, most of us run trucks @ $.55 per mile just for fuel, wear & tear, Insurance, tolls and that doesnt even include of own paycheck. Just think how much it would cost for you to go get it yourself, it would be more than you $400.00 Sorry good luck on the move. (11/3/2007)
Response: Your math is terrible........Yeah, I'm not expecting someone to go there for JUST MY CAR; it's obviously not worth it for a single car trailer, so why anyone would do that makes no sense. Who delivers just 1 car at a time? I could fly there for $190 and fuel would cost me $110 to drive it back, which makes $300, but I don't have time for that. (11/4/2007)
Response: My Math isnt off and NO I DONT HAUL JUST ONE CAR @ a time, OK you stated how much it would cost to fly & fuel, how about HOTEL and your time driving, I didnt know we all were doing this for free. Good luck on your transport just make sure you get someone with insurance and everything else or you can be on the list with the others on this list.
