Question: We can pick this up for you in about 4-5 days. Let us know if we can be of assistance. Paul @ PD Shipping (3/25/2008)

Response: That would be great. What would be the cost, door to door? Could I add a box with my helmets with the motorcycle? I will not be there to help load the motorcycle and my dad, at whose house it is stored, is 83 years old, and I would not expect him to be able to assist. (3/25/2008)

Response: Could you or your dad possiably get someone to help load? It will just be me and I will not take the chance loading this by myself. (3/25/2008)

Response: So far, I so not know what cost we are talking about here. As I said, my dad is nearly 84 years old. What type of help would you need? Someone to help roll the motorcycle up a ramp or only on to a hydraulic lift? If you need help rolling it to a hydraulic lift, my dad could possibly help. If it were an evening pick-up, my brother might agree to help, if we had a time when you would be there.
Interstate 84 is very near my daughters house, and possible arrangements could be made to receive the motorcycle at Hood River along the interstate so you would not have to come into town. Once again, it depends on the time of day as my son-in-law, to whom you would be delivering, works during the day. (3/25/2008)

Response: I would help loading up a 8' long bike ramp. I don't need help unloading. 400.00. Hood river delivery would be the best. Ask your brother if he would help? I am 29 yrs old, so I can do the brunt of the work. (3/25/2008)

Response: When would I pay, on delivery? When could you pick-up? I will contact my brother and see if he would be available to help if you can give me a pickup date and approximate time.
What about the box with the helmets? could you take that also?
If the pickup is on Saturday, my brother would be available during the day, I think.
We are quite close to striking a deal here if things come together for you to pickup.

Response: We look forward to being in Wyoming either saturday or sunday, as for the exact time and date, it is hard to set something up precise due to anything can happen from now until then(road conditions, weather, vechicle breakdowns etc...). We would contact you/pickup contact 24 hours before we arrived to set everything up. As for the box with the helmet, that would alright. We do not accept any type of deposit, cash upon delivery only. Paul @ PD Shipping (3/26/2008)

Response: This sounds good. Since I am in Oregon at my daughter's house, you would be contacting my Dad in Wyoming for the pickup. I leave for Japan on Sunday morning, so you would be dealing with my daughter and son-in-law in Hood River Oregon. My son-in-law says there are a couple of places just off I84 with easy on and off where he could meet you to get the bike and helmets and pay for the shipping. I would leave money with them so they can pay you on safe delivery.
When my son-in-law gets home from work, I can provide a contact number for him here in Oregon.
This answer system will not let me provide telephone numbers or addresses as we have not made a bid agreement through Uship. What do you suggest?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Response: I will place a formal bid for your acceptance. You can verify our information(insurance/DOT compliance) through the government website link I have posted in my profile. Click on my name, copy and past link in profile, enter my MC# in the correct area, click on HTML. (3/26/2008)

Response: I accepted your bid this morning, so it looks like the shipment is a go. The telephone number in Torrington is correct for my father. His name is Jacob, and you can contact him by telephone, however, there he has no email. Alternatively, you can email me and I can call him, but that is a bit round about.
The delivery contact is Troy in Hood River, Oregon.
I am looking forward to a smooth and successful transport.
