Questions for this shipment:

Question: Shipper, Welcome back! I can do this by the first of april. Lt me know what will get your Busines and I will bid it so I can put you on the Planning Board. Thank You (3/20/2007)
Response: Hello Jime: I had to update my information, since I noticed that the measurements were in inches, and I wrote them on feets. The with of the boat is 9.10, almost 10 feet. Also I answer you how could we deal with the payment, since you only accept cash, and I would not be either at the picking or delivery point. Seastar Line ships on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I understand this one should be ready to delivered to Jacsonville by the 29. It would have its own new trailer! Let me know whats your position now with the information provided. (3/20/2007)
Question: Thank You for the reply. You can mail a Bank Check and prepay. I will drop it of on tuesday 4/3/07. I usally charge a port charge when dropping off, it takes two hours for the port athority to clear me and the vessel before I can leave. It's a real Pain! Lets get to a figure so as I can get this on my planning board. Hows 600 (3/20/2007)
Response: Jim: Thats 600, for everything? What would be my insurance for the service if anything happens hope God nothing does, and remember, this is an oversized Load. Your feedback as a reputable shipper looks very good. If we were to close the deal I can leave you a check with the broker and the pick-up addres, you can verify balance before leaving. I can asure, money would be there. I can not close the deal until I test the boat, which would be happening this weekend that I would fly to NC. (3/20/2007)
Question: OK. Right the 9'... Make it 700 and a bank check or cash with the broker..? (3/20/2007)
Response: Its 9.10, almoust 10. Insurance? (3/20/2007)
Question: Shipper, I need to know if we are on for this?? it is a one day bid and we have been down this road before... Thank You (3/20/2007)
Response: I can not compromise my word, since I have to flight tommorrow to NC and test the Boat. It is imposible for me to compromise since the purchase has not become final!! (3/21/2007)
Question: OK, not to worry. I will reset the bid with a longer time. I thought you were ready to pull the trigger. No hurry, I will still get it to the port for you. Thanks (3/21/2007)
Response: Cool, that looks more like the jim from all the feedbacks. I'll get back to you on Monday with an update. Thanks man for the information and your service! (3/21/2007)
Question: Hello shipper, I can do for $650 since I will have an empty load going down to So Fl to pick up another boat. Timeframe would be between April 2nd and 4th. I can accept a credit card or bank check since you will not be at either location. Also, what is the drop off situation? Please let me know in the next couple days so I can plan. I will place a bid for confirmation upon your response. Thanks- Peformance Marine Transport (3/21/2007)
Response: The drop off situation is at Seastarline in Jacksonville FL, for marine transportation. I would be testing the boat this weekend, so I would know for sure on Monday where I am at. I think I wrote you before, and sorry for mentioning it again, the only thing with your service is that you dont have any feedbacks, and I am not in the state to follow up as easy as any one there. This does not take you out, but since I am getting bids for the same price with feedback I am a litle sckeptic. Dont get me wrong please, but being a Lawyer I have seing about everything. We would keep in touch. (3/21/2007)
Question: is it ready to go , I can get it done this weekend for 670 (3/25/2007)
Response: I am in the process of paying the boat and the trailer. It should be ready for shipping around Thursday. Is this the total cost, round trip? No additional or hidden charge? Final? (3/26/2007)
Question: hi shipper yes $575.00 would be your total cost .and we would be able to pick it up frist thing 4/5/07 . i have already checked with sea star and they dont close until 4pm so it would be there before they close would be happy to take care of this for you/thanks keith/please see our profile (3/26/2007)
Response: It sounds ok to me. I have to check if Seastar sails on Holy Friday. If you pick-up the boat on April 5, would you be able to be there before 4? I dont know if they work the next day, holy friday! (3/27/2007)
Question: Just another thought, Ask the Marina if that would be OK (what I said earlier) And leave it there in a staging area for p/u.. Thanks (3/26/2007)
Response: Hello Jim: I already did this, and they were very glad to help me. The trailer would be delivered and the marina would placed the boat on the trailer, and the marina told me they can park it there till the shipper picks it up the same day. Sea Star closes at 4PM and the marina closes at 5PM, just leting you know the times of service. The documents for Seastar company would be given to the shipper by the Broker which would sent them to where the boat is, once the shipper is there to pick the boat. The only problem I am having is that I was not able to leave a check with no one there to pay you. So for us to be able to contract we need to figure out a way to be able to pay you. The boat should be ready for pick-up tommorow. Seastar sails on Friday. (3/27/2007)
Question: I got a e-joke from a friend that told me most of our worries do not even happen, This is one. 1st except the bid. 2nd send a check. 3rd I will get it done, maybe not as fast as you desire. But we have been kicking the can for awhile now, LOL (3/27/2007)
Response: I have a booking for the Boat to Sail on Friday. The boat would have to be pick-up at least thursday, since, it has to be no later that at 4PM Friday, time they close. The Marina where the boat is, opens its operations at 8AM. You need to let me know ASAP if you can do the job for Friday! (3/27/2007)
Question: Now that truly suprises me. I have been shipping to the Islands for years and they never gave me a date! It's always bring it and wait... Sorry, This case is closed.. It just doesn't pay enough for me to drop my trailer in NC and then go to JAX and then go back to NC. I wish you luck, to much chatter for me... (3/27/2007)
Response: Sorry for your reaction. I think I did express my self right. Let me see how I said it again for just the sake of letting thigs straigh. I book a shipping on Seastar already today. The trailer is paid, the boat is paid. They sail on Friday and for the boat to be able to sail on friday and be in Puerto Rico on Monday they need to received it before 4PM. Its my greates wish to have this boat on Monday, since, that way I can use it on the Holy week. The boat can defenetly be delivered at another time and then for example be ship on tuesday. If it sails on Tuesday, it arrives on Friday, and Friday is a holiday and the boat would be at Seastar yard in San Juan all weekend long for burgalars to steel what ever goodies they can from the boat. I am very sorry for the misunderstanding, hope this clears the misunderstandind. Thanks anyway for the interest on the shipping. (3/27/2007)
Question: Sir, I do understand. But you do not expect me to wait for the shipper to say go and jump, I have other dates to do! I have tried to squeeze, bend, slide, your boat in. It is just not going to happen now. Not with me, if I could I would. I am out here like many of these drivers putting there lives on the line. I will be moving boats all Holy Week! This is a busy time of the year. Just look at the shippers on this site (do a search). They buy it and want it yesterday! Some times we get to pull that off... The only way for me to do this is if you load your boat and trailer on my trailer, then off load it in Jax. I will leave my trailer at the marina in Jax and walk your boat through the port. It will not be that much more and I will be in Wilmington (God allow) Thursday night. That's if these two ahead get moving! I am to p/u in the morn, if she wines anymore I go to the next! Then I will just have one more this week. (maybe not) Either way, I wish you and yours well! (3/27/2007)
Response: Jim: For some reason I would love to do this with you since, I read all your feedbacks and you trasmit confident to me, different to some other shippers here with less feedback. Let me know how we can do this. If the boat is not there friday, well what the hell, I rather go to church next Friday. Men, let me know ha we can do this, are be more than glad to be flexible. Lets do this, I would do the things necessarry to have the boat ready on the marina when you can pick it up. Lets do this man, sorry for any inconvinience or hurrys from my side. (3/27/2007)
Question: My Friend, if I had the time to do the research I would... Please ask your marina in Nc to load your rig on mine. I will get there asap.. Then find another marina in JAX to off load your rig and I will get it there to the port ASAP... Thanks (3/27/2007)
