Questions for this shipment:

Question: I already bid on your car and you declined it, my price is still the same I don't work for nothing Dennsxt (3/28/2008)
Response: No problem. Sorry I am not willing to pay the asking price simply because the car is a rolling shell without a motor/tranny or interior and is extremely light. I appreciate your bid though. Thanks again, Evan (3/28/2008)
Question: Hi shipper, Robert here. How will this be loaded / unloaded if not running? Will there be assistance on each end? (3/28/2008)
Response: The car is a rolling shell minus engine tranny interior and is very light. I cant speak for pick up on the vehicle but I imagine loading would be no problem. I will unload at destination. This means the only work required is the drive. Thanks again, Evan (3/28/2008)
Response: Hi Evan, I;m sure unloading is no problem but there is more work involved than driving. First hauler has to load the chassis to the trailer. In our case it's a tilt bed trailer and we do have a winch but even u skeleton vehicle has weight and resistance. Now once you get it loaded it still has to be secured and balanced properly for transport. My point is anyone bidding is going to take all that into consideration... Realisticly what $$$$ do you need to get this done for? If there is any possibility we can meet your goal I'll do so. (3/28/2008)
Response: Well I have purchased the vehicle. The person I have purchased from should be able to help with loading. I can ask him to verify. The only reason I was looking at shipping was time constraints as I have a dolly myself. I was really just looking for a way to make it worth my time not to drive the distance. Lol. The question more or less is what can you do the job for assuming you have limited work in loading and unloading? Again before we arrange anything I will make sure the origin has someone who can load the vehicle or require very minimal help in doing so. (3/28/2008)
Response: Understood. As it stands right now there is nothing going that way to team it with. Do you have a deadline? Without anything to take there I'd have to get $550.00 for the 900 miles I'd travel (we're home based in Rochester, NY). On the other hand I have to go to Philly on the 3rd and if I don't have a load scheduled then I may be able to come down a bit. (3/28/2008)
Response: If you go from Philadelphia its only 2 hours extra to get to the pickup. Can you do my target price if you go from philadelphia as it would be cutting a total of 4 hours off of driving for you? (3/28/2008)
Response: In short form; probably. The problem is I have three bids pending to haul a boat to MA then another up to alexandria bay and the 3rd to MD. The problem there is if I take boats I won't have my car trailer with me when I finish in MD... As long as you're in no rush I'm sure we can put something together to get it in your target range. (3/28/2008)
Response: awesome. lets just work something out then. Im ok for time as we speak. How about you figure out what you have to haul and we go from there. (3/28/2008)
Response: Let's see what I can scrounge together in the next day or so. Like I said I'm in Philly on the 3rd and then my next commitment is FL on the 10th or so so between now and then something should work out. (3/28/2008)
Question: I am currently trying to confirm another trip souht and will be empty coming back to Buffalo with a open 20 foot car hauler. I am equipped with an electric winch to pull it onto the trailer. If the vehicle rolls I could handle this load no problem. Looking at return to your area around May 4 or 5. will this work for your schedule/deadline ? if so I can do it for $525 if you are interested ? Once I get confirmation on the first leg of this trip over this weekend I can bid ? thanks John (3/28/2008)
Response: I was looking to get it here a little sooner then that. But I will keep it in mind. Please bid and if I still require it I will accept and get back to you. Regards, Evan (3/28/2008)
