Additional Information: I have been waiting for two weeks to have this boat shipped, and unfortunately the bidder that I went with just developed truck problems and can't transport the boat, so the job was cancelled, and I have had to re-list. I would like it moved as soon as possible. The boat trailer is in excellent shape and has been completely gone through, and has new LED lights, bearings, and new four wheel drum surge brakes. Questions for this shipment:

Question: I'd love to do this for you if we can wait until after Christmas. I miss the holidays last year being on the road so I'd like like to be home this year. How does 2200.00 sound to you immediately after Christmas? (12/9/2007)
Response: Go ahead and submit your bid... I would rather have it moved before then, and I think the seller would as well, but I would like to see all bids... (12/9/2007)
Response: Will do. Thanks for the quick response. (12/9/2007)
Question: I can pick up now, but will not be able to deliver untill after x-mas. Would this work for you? (12/10/2007)
Response: That wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker, but it is not going to even be ready to pick up until late this week or early next week. Go ahead and bid if you like... (12/10/2007)
Response: I will be coming up from Fort Jackson, S.C. on the 18th (son graduates boot camp) can pick up on my wway back, on the 19th, then leaave home on the morning of 26th to get it to you. (12/10/2007)
Response: So you would be driving it back to SC? If so, I would rather not put any more excess miles on the trailer than necessary... (12/10/2007)
Response: No, I live in Metro detroit, would be able to pick up on my way back north, it will only add 100 miles. (12/10/2007)
Question: Hi shipper, Robert here. NADA calls the weight for this at 4300 dry + trailer = about 6000 lbs +. Can you advise when you want to relocate this vessel? (12/14/2007)
Response: The trailer weighs 1900 lbs and the boat weighs 4300 dry. It has very little fuel on it now and no water and very little gear, so it should be close to the dry weight. Maybe 4600 lbs?? I am only waiting on the installation of a 2 5/16" coupler and trailer brakes on the 2nd axle. It had a 2" coupler with only a 6,000lb capacity and brakes on only one axle, which I was not comfortable with so parts have been ordered and I am hoping that it will be ready to roll a few days before Christmas, but the seller and I am flexible, and it can be shipped after Christmas. I understand Christmas is family time for most people. The seller is making up his mind as to whether he wants to drive the boat out to me and make it into a vacation since he has never been to Seattle and he will let me know tomorrow whether he will do it or not. If not, I will be accepting a bid from Uship tomorrow to handle the job. (12/14/2007)
Response: I must have missed your response earlier... This is a heavy boat going uphill quite a distance and although I'd like to earn your biz I don't think we could compete with the prices you're getting this thime of year for this route. About the best I could do would be $2,500.00 (12/17/2007)
Question: (12/15/2007)
Question: can this be done after christmas thanks.... (12/15/2007)
Response: yes... (12/15/2007)
Response: we can do it then for 2000 i have put my bid in under cttrans hope to do business with you thanks.... (12/17/2007)
Question: How long after Christmas can you wait? I'm just trying to figure out a safe route considering the weather and roads. (12/15/2007)
Response: Hopefully no more than a week or so... The sooner the better, if at all possible, but I understand that this time a year, weather can certainly be a factor in timely delivery. (12/15/2007)
Response: That is kind of what I am aiming at. I ultimately decided to hunker down for the holidays and wait out all this bad weather everyone is having. I know you want her as soon as possible but my soonest opening without rushing in this weather is around the second week of Jan. If this helps out let me know. I have one shipment much larger than yours that rescheduled for the end of the month to allow for weather, roads and similiar repairs that you are undergoing so it leaves me open for yours. (12/15/2007)
Response: I should be ready to accept a bid by Monday or Tuesday. I am just waiting on the seller. (12/15/2007)
Response: My timeframe work for you or would you rather it be done sooner? (12/15/2007)
Question: Hi Shipper, Just checking in to see what you are thinking, Let us know when you get a chance, Thanks, Chris (12/17/2007)
Question: What did we figure out was the acceptable for you? (12/17/2007)
Question: do you still need done? (1/2/2008)
Response: Yes, the the guy that I chose to ship it backed out due to truck problems. I would like to get this boat as soon as possible. I purchased it on 12/12, so it is going on almost a month. (1/2/2008)
Question: Thanks for the bid request. You can rest assured that I can handle her for you no ifs and ands or buts but I am fully booked until the last week of Jan. I know you want it in a hurry but if she can wait just a little longer you can consider the job done. Don't know if that helps you out any but I always book in advance to keep my truck rolling non stop. (1/2/2008)
Response: Thanks for your reply... You are right, I would like it sooner since I am frustrated that the other bidder had me wait for two weeks before he cancelled on me. I purchased this boat on 12/12, so I would really like to get this boat home. I understand that you need to keep rolling as well. Would you mind putting a bid in anyways and I'll see what else rolls in? Thanks! (1/2/2008)
Response: No problem I completely understand. Now don't qoute me on this but there IS a remote possibility that I could grab her as soon as the third week of Jan along with another boat coming back from the east coast as well. I am buying another truck that is coming from the east coast and there is a very strong possibility that it will be ready by the time I head back out there and could handle it for you(mid to last part of third week) but again don't quote me to it 100%. Either way the time difference is only a week and half between the soonest and the latest. I will make a note of it in my bid. (1/2/2008)
