Question: Hello, I'm interested in DRIVING your Mercedes to Kansas City, MO, for you. I can pick up on your preferred date and deliver within three days, weather and road conditions permitting. Once determined, I'll guarantee your pick up and delivery dates; no "windows". The vehicle needs to be insured and have some form of current registration (or temporary tag). If you're at all interested, please review my perfect feedback of over four years and eighty plus matches; 100%~no negatives, neutrals, or cancellations. You would be dealing solely with me, the driver; no brokers, middlemen, or other drivers, and I know you would be pleased with my service. I'm rarely the least (or most) expensive option you will have, but I'm safe, dependable, reasonable and fair, and I'll treat your vehicle like gold. Please ask any questions you may have and let me know if you would like me to submit a competitive quote. Thank you for your time and consideration. ~Jim Henderson (9/19/2009)

Response: all that sounds great, how much? (9/19/2009)

Response: Hi - Thanks for your prompt response and interest. Give me about fifteen minutes, and I'll figure out when I can do it within your time frame for the best price, unless you actually have a preferred date you'd like it picked up or delivered. ~Jim (9/19/2009)

Response: Give me your best price within those dates.

Response: Hi Skip - It looks like $950 to pick up on Friday, the 25th with delivery on the 28th. I try to adjust the times to make it as convenient for you as possible, but I'm restricted somewhat by airline schedules. Let me know what you think. Thanks. ~Jim (9/19/2009)

Response: when do you need to know? (9/19/2009)

Response: Hi Skip - The sooner you commit, the better chance I have of being able to keep that price. I don't place formal bids until you're ready; that way I avoid conflicts and cancellations, and losing money on airline reservations that I don't use. Once you think you're ready, let me know, I'll check airfares, and submit a formal bid with a relatively short expiration. Once you accept the bid, that's it, the price is set, I do my best to get the flights I planned on using, and we get each other's contact information to work out the minor details. Is the insurance and licensing taken care of? Any questions? Let me know what you think. Thanks. ~Jim (9/19/2009)

Question: Skip - I'm not trying to pressure you but I need you to know that I place only one bid at a time, and work on a first come, first serve, basis. There are other people interested right now in the same time frame, but I'm having the most communication with you, and as yet, have placed no formal bids for this time frame. Thanks again. ~Jim (9/19/2009)

Question: Skip - If picking up the car at a later date works better for you, that is possible, for the same price. I just gave you the earliest date in your time frame that I could do it for that price. In fact, if you're flying out, we could just meet at the airport. You just tell me when you're going to be at the airport, and I make sure I'm there. I do this frequently with my regular customers and they love it because they don't have to arrange transportation to the airport. It's winner for me to, as I'm usually flying in and then taking local transit to get close to the pick-up point. ~Jim (9/19/2009)

Question: Can drive it to KC for $800, as long as its insured and has plates. THanks. (9/21/2009)

Response: Are you insured, do you have references? We can make this work if you can pick it up on the 30th - doesn't matter so much when it gets there. Does that work for you?
The car is insured, has valid plates, newly serviced, etc.
Let me know if this works,
