Question: Hi, I can haul both your Rocky’s later this week for $250. Pick up about Thursday the 15th, delivery within 1 day. I need a response quickly to put you on my schedule. I have 100% positive feedback and the correct equipment (see profile). Thanks, Vern (FlyingseahorseTransport). (11/12/2007)

Response: Is your bid COD or do you need any money/deposit up front? I cannot tell you to go ahead & pick up the vehicles since the man I bought them from wanted to coordinate with the transport about when to pick up the vehicles. If you are willing to do this & you are ok with COD I do not have a problem accepting your bid, however you may not be able to pick up the vehicles until something can be coordinated with the original owners from my end. (11/14/2007)

Response: Sorry, this trip filled up, thanks for the consideration. I will probably be in your area again in about 2 weeks. I'll watch your ad, Vern. (11/14/2007)

Response: You still did not answer if you are COD or not? If your bid remains the same & you are COD, I would still like to do business with you. Can you please advise of the earliest dates you will be available, thanks. (11/15/2007)

Response: Hi, Vern is on the road now. This is his wife, we do COD. Most of our business is outside USHIP. We usually use USHIP to augment an existing partial load or when running empty to, from, or between loads. That way you get a good price and we make a little extra. If he is going in your direction after Thanksgiving with room for your Rocky’s and you still need them moved, I’m sure he will make a new bid. Thank you, Linda-Anne. (11/15/2007)

Response: Thank you for responding so quickly!!! It is greatly appeciated. (11/15/2007)

Question: What are these things ??? Is have a 3 car hauler and will be in that area making a delivery Mon. 19 or Tue. 20. Your low bid was for $250,,,I assume this is for each ? I could probably do it for $225 each. Send description and if that works for you I'll bid.
Thanks, Dave (11/16/2007)

Response: These are actually the same thing as a GEO Tracker or a Suzuki Samurai, so they are pretty small. The bid was actually $250.00 for both since they are so small (together they probably measure the length of one car-give or take). The only reason I didn't accept the original bid was that the seller did not get back to me in time to coordinate pickup instructions for transport. If you want to place a competative bid in for transport it would be greatly appreciated, as I will be making a decision very soon (probably by your dates) to have them moved. By the way, how long would it take to get them moved, do you do COD, & what types of payment (Credit card, cash, etc.) do you accept. Please advise, thanks. (11/16/2007)

Response: We normally get paid by the car regaurdless of size. Weight is weight and fuel is fuel and space is space, etc. I have another possible run and if that works out I could pick up Tue. on the way home rather than Mon. and haul the things all those miles. I also have tolls to contend with on the way back. If the Tue. pick up works it will save my fuel costs and with other costs I'll do it for $300. I'm trying to make a living,,,not a killing. If it works for you let me know,,,check out my profile. I prefer cash. I can do COD. I can do pay pal but the bid then would be higher because the charge me. Thanks for responding so quick.

Question: Sorry, Another question. Do the Rockys run ???
Thanks,
Dave (11/16/2007)

Response: Yes, they both run. If you pick them up on tuesday when would you drop them off? (11/16/2007)

Response: It all depends on the other p/u and delivery. I will be in Harrisonburg. Va. for a delivery at 8 AM. If I don't get the other bid I will be ready for pick up mid-morn Mon. If I do get the other bid I would pick up around noon Tue. and deliver same day if thats ok? Thanks for your quick response,
Dave (11/16/2007)

Response: I will not have the money to pay for the transport until Wednesday, would this be ok? If so then I would accept your bid. Please let me know if this would be acceptable & what info you would need to begin the process, thanks. (11/16/2007)

Response: Normally we get cash on delivery. I'd like to trust you but I've been burnt before, I'm sure you understand this is no way to do business.
If the person I deliver to will pay COD I will bid. Best I can do. Unless you can borrow the money locally and pay family or friends back Wed.
Let me know,
Thanks Dave (11/16/2007)

Question: Hey,,,what happened ??? Hope I didn't offend you ! Everythings a go we just have to agree on getting paid. Can you give me some options ??? I already placed a bid ! Its also looking like i'd be able to get these Monday now,,,what do you think ???
Let me know
Thanks, Dave (11/17/2007)

Response: I cannot guarantee that I will be able to pay you on Tuesday (which was your tentative delivery date). I am also not in the habit of promising things I cannot deliver on (like paying for services rendered-transport). I can pay you on Wednesday guaranteed. I am not sure I can get you payment on Tuesday. I still have to coordinate all of this with the seller as well, so while you may be able to get them on Monday, the seller may not be as accomadating. If you want to pick them up on Tuesday & deliver on Wednesday this is an option. I just want to make sure that I can pay you for the transport, this is why the pick up & drop off times are flexible. Please advise, thanks. (11/17/2007)

Response: How about this,,,I will pick up Mon. and bring them to my lot. You overnight me a cashiers check and I will deliver on the day I recieve it. Wed. Fri. Sat. etc. If this works please accept my bid.
I can pick up Mon. during the day.
Thanks Dave (11/18/2007)

Response: This is acceptable. Where is your lot located? I will notify the seller that you will pick up the vehicles on Monday. Please let me know around what time you will try to pick up the vehicles. The sellers name is Steve Sutherland. The pickup address is 7680 Opal Road, Warrenton, VA 20186. Please advise if you need additional info, thanks. (11/18/2007)
