Question: Hi, I would have to resubmit a bid today if you wanted. For some reason I was thinking it was in "Pomona" near where I live and I just caught the fact it is in "Ramona" which is down south of Escondito heading out into the desert heading towards Julian. Its another day of travel and gas (225 miles return) into the land of desert nod. I can still do it but would have to charge $550.00 total for the delivery to your door. Response: I don't know if I can afford $550. My absolute outside budget was $475 which was why I was excited about the original bid. If it would be easier. I am not sure I can get that much cash for your delivery.

Question: Hi, Thanks for the bid request, but you have told other transporters their bid was to high. Going rate for a single car hauler today (changes daily with fuel costs) is $1.08 per loaded mile. I am sorry but I just can't place a bid that you would accept. Response: Sorry, I did not know the bid requests went individually to shippers. I thought it was more like ebay where shippers logged on and looked at who needed service. That's why I thought your request was odd. I apologize for the misunderstanding. (5/28/2007)

Well, that's the problem. I don't have $1500. If I only had to pay for the car, I could do it. But since I have to rent a truck too, I can't afford $600 to have my car hauled. I wish I could but I just don't think I can swing it. :-(

Response: I do have the ability to get your car, but I am not sure what your saying about the $$. If you cant pay me 500, (which is a bargain) when I get back to Ut. then I will just keep looking to find something. If your okay with that, then I will head clear down there from San Fran and comeback through I-15 instead of I-80. Fuel is joke here, and I will spend 300 just in fuel!!
