Questions for this shipment:

Question: I can do this on your dates. Can pick up from Ramona, Ca and store it for free until you are ready for it to be delivered. I will place a bid on Thursday. Marc/Toynutt (5/14/2007)
Response: What happened? Why did you cancel your bid? (5/17/2007)
Question: Hi, I would have to resubmit a bid today if you wanted. For some reason I was thinking it was in "Pomona" near where I live and I just caught the fact it is in "Ramona" which is down south of Escondito heading out into the desert heading towards Julian. Its another day of travel and gas (225 miles return) into the land of desert nod. I can still do it but would have to charge $550.00 total for the delivery to your door. Sorry about the mistake on my part but I caught it in time. I was lucky you didn't accept my original bid. Marc/toynutt (5/18/2007)
Response: I don't know if I can afford $550. My absolute outside budget was $475 which was why I was excited about the original bid. If it would be easier. I am not sure I can get that much cash for your delivery. DJ (5/18/2007)
Question: Hi, I am leaving for the weekend right now and will check back on sunday night/monday morning when I get back. Thanks, Marc/toynutt (5/18/2007)
Question: Hi, I have my labtop working for awhile. If you bid in time I will cancel my other offer to move another vehicle as they have not responded yet. Thanks, Marc (5/18/2007)
Response: I was hoping to hear back from you before you canceled. I guess you took the other offer. thanks. DJ (5/21/2007)
Question: Hi, The other shipper responded for $600.00 and the bid was accepted so I am unable to help you now. Marc/toynutt (5/22/2007)
Question: Hi, Thanks for the bid request, but you have told other transporters their bid was to high. Going rate for a single car hauler today (changes daily with fuel costs) is $1.08 per loaded mile. I am sorry but I just can't place a bid that you would accept. Thanks for the request and consideration. Jim "fearlessfossil" JAL (5/28/2007)
Response: Thanks but, are you the administrator of the website or are you just someone who wanted to tell me that I am expecting too much. I have had many, many bids from other sources well below the rate that you have quoted. I will probably be accepting one of these other bids. Thanks for taking the time to quote your thoughts (5/28/2007)
Question: Sir, I am just a transporter offering a service. You sent me the bid request, I just responded to let you know I could not submit a bid in what seemed to be your price range. Of course I have nothing to do with the other bids you have received. It has been my experience you get what you pay for. Sorry if I upset you. Hope I didn't make you mad. Enjoy, Jim "fearlessfossil" JAL (5/28/2007)
Response: Sorry, I did not know the bid requests went individually to shippers. I thought it was more like ebay where shippers logged on and looked at who needed service. That's why I thought your request was odd. I apologize for the misunderstanding. (5/28/2007)
Question: Hey, no problem here, If I can help you get the car moved let me know. Good luck. Enjoy, Jim "fearlessfossil" JAL (5/28/2007)
Question: I will be travelling from Orange county back home to SLC on the 16th-17th and could take your car for $500. I am just looking to make up for gas and the dolly/trailer rental. Does it need to be on a trailer? It would be cheaper to put it on a dolly. Let me know what you think. -EVAN (6/2/2007)
Response: That sounds good. I think that might work. I don't know if my car would need a dolly or a trailer. It's a rear wheel drive. DJ (6/3/2007)
Question: I will do this for you inside my trailer for 6 bills. That way you have no wear on any of your drive train, which is rough on those smaller cars. It may cost you a bit more, but will save you some money in future repairs that may come out of dragging it that far. check my profile, and let me know, Thanks! (6/7/2007)
Question: Hello again, I will be coming down there middle of the week with my enclosed trailer. Do you still want this done? Let me know asap so i can save the room. Thanks! (6/10/2007)
Response: how much was it? (6/10/2007)
Question: I quoted you 600 to load it inside my trailer. I have a ramp and a Come-a-long. Just need a bit of help guiding it up in.. Let me know if this will work for you, and I will plan it out right away. Thanks! (6/10/2007)
Question: Are we good to go? (6/12/2007)
Question: I WILL BE IN SAN FRAN TONIGHT, NEED TO KNOW IF I SHOULD PLAN ON COMING SOUTH TO GET YOUR RX-7 OR HEAD EAST BACK TO UT. LET ME KNOW ASAP. THANKS! (6/12/2007)
Response: I would really like to take advantage of your service but I just don't think I'll have the money. I have to go to San Diego soon to pick up some stuff I have in storage. I can rent a dolly while I get the truck and tow it up here. I'd really rather not tow it either myself or pull it on a dolly but I don't think I can swing $600 knowing that I also have to rent a truck for my stuff and it will take about $900 for that as well. :-( DJ (6/12/2007)
Question: DJ, Why dont you just pay me to do both for you. I hav a 24' Vnoseenclosed trailer, and I could load the car and your stuff you pa me 1500, and I will do all the work and driving. What do you think? (6/12/2007)
Response: Well, that's the problem. I don't have $1500. If I only had to pay for the car, I could do it. But since I have to rent a truck too, I can't afford $600 to have my car hauled. I wish I could but I just don't think I can swing it. :-( DJ (6/12/2007)
Response: Ok, I will try to help you out and go 500 if I can p/u tomorow afternoon sometime. Let me know in the AM first thing and i will drive down from San Fran. Thanks (6/13/2007)
Response: Also, my car is in a rural area at my friends house on a hill. Would you be able to get to it? DJ (6/13/2007)
Response: I do have the ability to get your car, but I am not sure what your saying about the $$. If you cant pay me 500, (which is a bargain) when I get back to Ut. then I will just keep looking to find something. If your okay with that, then I will head clear down there from San Fran and comeback through I-15 instead of I-80. Fuel is joke here, and I will spend 300 just in fuel!! So to make 200 for all that driving is a joke as well, but I will do it so I can start coming home. Let me know right away, and I will stop looking for something else. Thanks! (6/13/2007)
Response: It looks like this might work for $500. Please call me as I am working (I drive a route) and it is extremely difficult to keep in contact with you using my pda phone. [phone number removed] if I don't answer, leave me a message and I will call back when I return to the vehicle. DJ (6/13/2007)
Response: OK, I will submit the bid for 500 plus uship fee. Once you accept my bid, then I will get your phone # and you will have my cell as well, the we can quit typing and chat on the phone. Call me asap. Thanks and we'll chat soon. (6/13/2007)
Question: Hi I live in the San Diego area,I would be happy to help you out with what ever local hauling you need to or from Ramona.Let me know if you want a formal bid.thank's Joe (6/12/2007)
Question: Hey DJ, Something is wrong with your add, cause I cant submit a quote. That part is missing. I have a call into Uship to fix it so I can get you the quote, and then you can call me or vice versa. But please respond back so I know you are getting these last two notes. Thanks! (6/13/2007)
Response: I had to renew my listing. Go ahead and bid. DJ (6/13/2007)
