Response: Is this your only run? I can wait if the price is right. (11/28/2008)

Response: I can do it later, I'll rebid and you can lock it in, Thanks TruckingRFD (11/28/2008)

Response: Clark,
I have talked to the company that will be receiving the Trooper. The manager told me that he is there every night until about 6PM. In the morning things are hectic until about 9:30AM. He can even meet you on a Saturday if it is absolutely necessary. Sundays are not possible.
I am thinking of sending the Trooper up the week of the 8 of December. Let me know what your schedule is like. Also I would like to get a bid from you. I can provide you with all of the information that you will need after the bid is accepted. The party you will be dealing with in Tigard is very proffesional.
Please let me know if next week will work for you. I am thinking of having you pick it up Thursday morning as you are only about 30-45 minutes away from me. Let me know if this works into your schedule. I am flexible as far as what week the Trooper leaves.
Another thing that might be possible, is if you can load the Trooper on a monday morning, around 9-10.
Thanks,
George

Question: I am out of Sacramento and go to Portland 2x a month. I offer door to door worry free service. How soon do you need this transported? Check my feedbacks and let me know. I would like to earn your business. Thanks (11/27/2008)

Response: The shipment of the Trooper is going to Tigard. It is business so unloading is very easy. There is more than ample room to get a semi into the area. The vehicle does run.
What type of trailer do you have?
Is it one car, multiple, etc.
What type of vehicle will be used to pull the trailer?
You go to Portland twice a month. What are the dates?
What is the charge as I do not see a price for the services?
The vehicle will be delivered to a business and it must be delivered during normal business hours 8-5.
(11/28/2008)

Response: I will place a bid shortly, I will be using an enclosed trailer. Are you sure of the height of Trooper? (11/28/2008)

Response: The Trooper is:
wide 68 inches with mirrors folded against the body
Length 178 inches, this includes the spare tire that hangs of the rear door.
Height 72 inches from ground to top of roof line. The vehicle has not been raised.
The vehicle is going to a business to have some final work done on it. It is being donated to an orphange in Costa Rica. You have stated that you give discounts. I am a retired Firefighter an have reworked this vehicle. Once the electrical system is checked out, it is going into a container to be shipped to the orphange. Your help in this project to allow me to send the vehicle down, would be greatly appreciated. I have proof off what I am doing if you need it.
Thank you. (11/28/2008)

Response: When is the soonest it could be picked up? With delivery on the 1st or could delivery be later? (11/28/2008)

Response: Clark,
The delivery date is no a 911 issue. It can be later. I am available to have the vehicle picked up only Wednesdays through Sundays. I work Monday, Tuesday and ussually Wednesdays. I am not in the area during those days. I might be able to get a Wednesday off.
I still need a price from you. Can you please email me a price.
George
George (11/28/2008)

Response: I will be able to do it for$410. I still have to figure out my schedule for next week. I will place a bid tomorrow when I know better. Thanks (11/28/2008)

Response: Clark,
Please keep me posted so that I can let the destination know. I will probably not be able to get a in touch with anyone at the destination until monday morning.
I know we are not allowed to give phone number on this site so I am not sure how I will be in touch with you. I have not computer at the where I will be. I know this is a problem for both of us.
Where are you located? I will be in Sonoma for the first 2 days of the week. I am hoping to get on a computer there. Please let me know what the final price is and when you will be available to pick up the vehicle. Again, Monday and Tuesday will not work. Wednesday is a posibility.
Thanks,
George (11/28/2008)

Response: Great. I just got in from L.A... I will get you a bid and dates shortly. Thanks (11/29/2008)

Response: Clark,
I am receiving other bids for the job. Some are a little bit lower than what you suggested the price would be.
Is your trailer enclosed or open?
Are you or one of your employees going to do the transport or do you sub-contract to another carrier?
Please let me know about the above questions. I will be working and not at home until Wednesday night. Leaving Monday morning at about 9. I will not have computer access where I will be at. If possible please send me all the details including price by Wednesday. At that time I will be able to make a commitment on whom I am using.
As i said before this car is going to be send to and orphange in Central America. So anything you can do to help with this cause would be grately appreciated. This is a one man, me, donation. I have totally rebuilt the Trooper, I could not send any more expensive because of import taxes I would have to pay.
Thanks,
George (11/30/2008)

Response: George. I can pick up the trooper any time this week. When does it have to be in Tigard? I can do this on an open trailer. $400. Let me know. Dave (11/30/2008)

Response: Dave,
Are you doing the job yourself?
Are you part of Clarkmshp?
The date of arrival in Tigard would be preferably Friday by 6. The manager of the business is there until 6 every night. Monday is also OK. However, he told me that he can meet you on a Saturday if you give him enough notice. Let him know in advance by a day or so. He lives very close to the destination. 7 miles.
Pick up at Loomis would have to be about 10 or 11 AM on Thursday or any time after that. The Trooper and can also be delivered next week. So the pick up time is up to you. Let me know.
The price sounds fair, let see if we can work out the other details. The car is in perfect condition and does run. It has a minor computer problem so that is why it is going to Oregon. The person working on it is a personal friend of mine. He is going to check the complete electrical system on the car as a donation.
Thanks,
George
(11/30/2008)

Response: I would probably be the transporter. I don't sublet anything out. My truck driver nephew also drives for me 3 days a week. Pick up is no problem delivery between 9th and 13th. I will place a bid shortly.
Thanks
Dave (11/30/2008)

Response: Dave,
That sounds good. If you can take a few dollars of the shipment it would be appriciated. I hate to ask but, money is tight for all of us now.
Send me the bid, and we can go from there. You will have no problem at either end. I can help you load the car. I have done some towing in my life time. The parking area where the car is is very large. You can put 6-8 cars on it. It will be empty except for the Trooper. This will be an easy pick up and delivery. Very straight forward.
Thanks, looking forward to your bid.
George,
If you have any questions about the donation aspect of this, I can prove it. NO, I am not expecting you to do this for free, or lose money on it. We all have expences. Thnaks for your cooperation. (11/30/2008)

Question: Hello, would a pickup on the first work for you? (11/28/2008)

Response: No, it has to be later than that. I also do not see a price for the relocation of the vehicle.
Please let me know how much it is. (11/28/2008)

Response: sorry the run I will be on takes me through there the 1st or 2nd, good luck to you though. (11/28/2008)

Response: The Trooper with fully inflated tires is 72 inches high. If you take some air out of the tires you could possibly lessen the height by an inch. They can fill the tires at the destination.
Destination is a commercial location, shop that works on cars, and tunes cars. They have all the things you might need to help you unload. The loading, receiving area is very large. This is a big business, not a small residential street. (11/28/2008)
